This egg is on how to make a bottle rocket rifle. Someone made one the other day but it wasn’t any good and i modified it a bit. The only way it contributed to mine is that it uses pvc pipe.
Materials 1.thin pvc pipe - length does not matter to a certain extent but not too short
2.long stem lighter
3.end cap for pvc pipe
4.duct tape
5.something to use as a grip/handle
6.bottle rockets
Instructions 1.First buy a thin pvc pipe with end cap
2.Put the end cap on one end.
3.Duct tape the long stem lighter to that end(see picture)
4.Before you duct tape the lighter, make a marking where the tip of it will be and cut/drill a hole big enough for the flame to go through
5.After the lighter is on,put a bottle rocket in the pvc pipe. Make sure the wick is lined up with the hole. If not put something to block the end and make the rocket wick lined up with the hole
6.Add a grip/handle if wanted. You can use anything that your hand fits comfortably around. Duct tape it to a comfortable position on the rifle and you are ready to fire. See picture for any confusions.
Firing 1.Insert bottle rocket
2.Make sure wick is lined up right with hole. After you do it the first few times you won’t have to check anymore
3.Aim and pull the trigger/lighter
here is the picture (in paint because i haven’t made mine yet) i came up with the plans last night, what do you think?
Dec 13, 2006 5:24 pm - How the hell does this have such a high rating????????? why don’t you just stop being a pussy and just hold the bottle rocket.....0*
Dec 13, 2006 8:46 pm - I made one a while ago. I used and old metal vacuum tube (2 seperate pieces) and put an end cap on the back, and then put an old fishing rod handle at the front for the handle.
