how to make a survival candle/torch

Ok im going to try to teach u how to make a kind of candle/torch and just because its not violent or destructive doesn’t mean u got to rate me all low this is mostly a help egg for those who live in regions where natural disasters may lead to lack of power in homes (no lights)or for those adventures who want to feel authentic

ok materials for the first torch/candle
1. Chap stick or petroleum jelly
2. Cloth or papertowel
3. Lighter or flint
4. Stick or bowl
CANDLE
ok to get started on the candle u need to first rub the jelly all over one side of the cloth then tightly roll the cloth into a cigar shape for all u potheads this should be easy simply put this (cigar) into a dish or cup and light the end of it the petroleum should make the cloth burn for at least 5 times longer than it would burn without it this is your simple candle

TORCH
for the torch your cloth should be about a meter long and maybe 4 centimeters wide (long for all my Aussie readers) or about 2and half feet long and 2 centimeters wide (these are just rough size estimates). Coat the cloth in petroleum jelly on 1 side and wrap tightly petrol side down on the stick and tie the end in a knot. When it burns the petrol should leak onto the stick so when the cloth falls off the wood should still be burning brightly
