this egg will tell you how to turn a crappy fountain firework into an m80 style firecracker...
items needed:
super glue
fountain firework:
an end cap for the tube ( only need 1 because one end is already capped. you can make these out of toilet paper and pva glue)
and scissors
instructions:
peel the colored paper off the outside of the fountain:
take of the purple paper:
use the scissors to loosen then remove the inner tube
now just remove the crap from the bottom of it and this is what you have:
now pull the Styrofoam from the top of the tube:
and pull out the fuse...
pour out the flash powder...
use a small nail to poke a hole in the tube
insert the fuse and push it all the way in until it touches the other side:
now pour the flash powder back in and put super glue all around the side of the end cap and jam it into the open end of the tube.
LMAO that hilarious. Well i have none of those since i live in Arizona but i just got back from my uncles who had $1000 in fireworks so to the hell with it *5

Jan 05, 2007 9:43 am - ^^^^ i dont have any charcoal or magnesium powder, i do have alumnium powder but not any potassium perchlorate and you cant make flash powder from kno3 and al powder.
Jan 05, 2007 7:19 pm - i once extracted some flash powder out of a fire cracker and tested it against matchhead powder with striker powder. around the same power but only if you have a good amount of the striker powder
