I live in Canada so I don’t know if there is such thing as a party popper gun down in the states.
This should go from 50-200 fps(it depends on how much powder you use)

Materials:
.tape
.Airsoft BBs
.a small screw driver
.caps
.shells from the party popper
.the party popper gun
.paper
.card board tube(must have a large hole then the end of the party popper shell)
Procedure:
1 .pry the powder out of the caps (if you dont have a good access to flash powder)
2. pour the powder down into the shell(I used only one cap roll)
3. cut two 1" by 1" and save the little yellow cap that is on the front of the shell(Before the party popper shell is used this is here
4. shove the little foam disc down then the two pieces of paper by putting them flat on top of the shells then putting the screw driver on top and shoving it down(this saves a bunch of pressure being lost)
5.put about seven bbs in the shell then put a piece of tape over the top to keep it in there
6. now turn the shell around (shooting side away from you) there should be a little red or yellow dot in the center, pry it out with a pin or whatever and put a cap in there(sparking side first) note: sometimes the red or yellow dot isint there for it has come out in use of the shell
7.on the gun, saw off the barrel part and glue your card board tube on(don’t use a toilet paper card board tube)
8.put the shell in the gun close the lid
note: match powder and black powder don’t work
not even AP worked(i dont know if made it right though) the most ive put in is three pinches of powder and i did not see the bbs shoot but i no they did because the victum felt pain.
Jan 03, 2007 12:23 pm - to tell you the turth i havent used FP but cap powder is not a propellant and it worked pretty well and i think it burns alot like Flash Powder, when i tried gun powder it probably would of worked better but it did not ignite. Three pinches of cap powder u might think the gun would blow up but it dosen’t
Ja 03, 2007 12:27 pm - Also I no for a fact cap powder is more powerful than flash powder beacuse it contains potassium chlorate, magnesium, and red phosphurous or at least the caps i had said that(it says on the back)
Jan 03, 2007 3:55 pm - Now, if you cant see the bbs fly, then its way above 50 fps, if you can shoot it through a soda can, it should be around 350-400 fps. And you can get these party poppers at dollar stores, but not all of them have it. But, anyways 5* plus favs.
Jan 05, 2007 7:08 pm - not bad. i would have thought that the power would be at least 200 fps. try comparing it to a speed of a gun that you know what the velocity is. such as a paintball marker (300 fps) might give you a bit of an idea on what it is. 5*
