HOLY SHIT I opened my e-mail and found a letter from my ISP (internet service provider) telling me that I had com meted internet piracy from downloading 8 mile from a torrent. I might have been terrified so I uninstalled all torrent software from my computer and deleted all my movies except the porn (home made). Then I stripped my computer of a lot of programs emptied my recycle bin and de-fragmented my computer. Then to be REALLY PARINIOD I ONLY formated the violating blocks of my hard drive.
This was all from getting 8 mile.
Here is a copy of the e-mail they sent me.
We are writing to inform you that TELUS has received a complaint that alleges that your TELUS Internet Service account has been involved in copyright infringement. This complaint was traced back to your account based on the IP address used at the time of this activity.
Please note that TELUS has not provided any of your personal account information to the complainant. It is TELUS’ policy to disclose such information to a complainant only if ordered to do so by a court of law, which has not happened to date.
We do, however, want you to be aware that this complaint was received by us and offer you the following information that may be of help to you:
If you are unaware of this type of activity originating from your account, you may wish to inquire with others who have access to your account.

So guys if you do want to leep doing rhis change your ip every 5 min. Because when I checked my logs they report was only 5 min off from the time of download WOW. I do not know whats going to happen its a 250,000 dollar fine !!!! probably nothing but my next egg might be from the back of a trailer!!!!!

Jan 08, 2007 1:59 am - Your ISP blows. Thankfully, they didn’t turn your info over to them though. Some ISPs will. Just refrain from doing it for a while, then find some kind of program (Peer Guardian someone said) and start back up slowly.
Jan 08, 2007 11:27 am - torrents The Torrent file that you download (about 32kb) ISN’T Illegal, but the content in the end result is illegal.
Downloading or sharing any music on limewire IS ILLEGAL.
So In your case downloading when you downloaded the torrent fiel you werent breaking the law. but the 8 mile avi movie that you had in the end is illegal.
i would suggest downloading and installing microsoft windows Vista Ultimate. As this includes drive encryptor where you encrypt your drive so nobody can get in not even the goverement (until microsoft give them the software)
i would suggest changing your ip every 5 minutes or less.
also if you have wireless internet scan your area to see if you can connect to other peoples network so it will go through the isp.

Jan 08, 2007 4:30 pm - One of my buddies said that he had the "FBI" come to his house. Luckily he said he had formatted his computer. His dumbass let them inside withOUT a warrent. I still don’t believe him about the "FBI" coming to his house for music.
