Hey! Recently, I came upon this recipe for some amazing brownies that are really easy to make, and taste great, and with the rise of food eggs, I thought I’d share this one with you guys.
Ingredients
2 cups brown sugar, any kind will do
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter (or margarine, for a less fatty treat)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
2 eggs(large if you can, but if not, it won’t matter)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
tools you’ll need
1 soup pot
electric beater
9 by 9 inch baking tray
large mixing bowl
spatula
Preparation
To begin with, preheat your oven to 350F (175C).
While the oven is heating, add your sugar and butter into your pot, and set it on the stove on medium heat. Make sure you constantley stir this mixture until it becomes bubbly, and all the sugar has dissolved. Alternatively, you can combine your sugar and butter in a dish in a microwave, and heat it till all the sugar has dissolved (roughly 4-8 minutes depending on your microwave) let this cool a bit, but not to the point of it hardening, if it does, just reheat it slightly.
In your large pot, pour the sugar/butter in, add your vanilla and both eggs. using your electric mixer, beat this for about 30 seconds, then add your flour, and beat it till it has the look of smooth peanut butter. Also, if you chose to use nuts, mix them in at this point with your spatula.
Pour the entire bowl into your 9 by 9" tray (butter the tray to make the brownies not stick). Place the tray on the middle rack of your oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the edges of the brownie start to turn brown.
remove the tray from the oven, and set it on a counter to cool for about 15 minutes. when they have cooled, they are ready to cut and serve!
Extras
you can always substitute the chopped nuts with a personal favourite of mine, chocolate chips! if you do, use 2/3 of a cup instead of 1/2 for extra chocolatley goodness. Or in the case of the picture above, I used chucks of english toffee (gotten from a recipe off RE!)Another great idea, is to spread chocolate icing on top before you cut them.
hope you enjoy these brownies as much as I do! It’s even fun making them! |

 | F b 02, 2007 3:30 am - FUCK THAT 5* BUT WERE IS THE WEED???? |

 | Feb 02, 2007 3:37 am - WELLL if you WANTED to you could use pot butter instead of just plain butter,
take about a gram of weed, wrap it up in cheese cloth, loosley like tea, and on a low heat, in a pot, put both your weed and butter in and melt the butter, and keep it in for about 30-45 mins, take out the weed teabag, and sue that butter, a nice refreshing body high from your brownies ;] |
