MOD 1

Say you have tons of cymbals, but you don’t have the stands. What ever shal you do?... Fear not for I have the answer.

Materials:
rope
ceiling/closet
~hooks~


Procedure:(closet)

If you have a closet with sliding doors, take them off and move your drums in there. This will involve you moving most of your shit out. Then take rope and tie it on to your coat hanger bar. The thread your cymbal on the rope and tie the knot at the level you wish the cymbal to reside. If it’s hanging too horizontal install a hook on the wall in the back of your closet and tie the free end of the rope to it, this will slant it forward and stabilize when struck.

Procedure: (not in closet)
It works best in the closet but, can be done out side the closet. Your going to have to attach hooks on the ceiling. You will need to get a stud finder (a device that finds beams behind walls). Once the hooks are installed thread your cymbal on the rope and tie a knot at the level you wish the cymbal to reside. tie the rope and cymbal to the ceiling.

Not only is this basically free, it looks very awesome, and you can put drums and other such items under your cymbals with out booms.



MOD 2
Boy that tom sounds like shit.... and is very tinny sounding.

Materials:

sticky hand (toy)/ air soft target/


Procedure:
If your using an air soft target just rip off the sticky/rubbery front. With that said, just take your sticky hand/air soft rubber and then stick it to the head of a drum. Cut the rubber and put it back on till it sounds about right when struck. You can also experiment with putting it on the inside of the tom. If done right, it can make your drums sound many times better.
