Hey everyone Anubus here with a egg about how to make a $5 slingshot.
Materials
.Pliers
.64 Rubber bands
.Fabric (I recomend part of the handle of one of those environmentally friendly bags)
What to do
First group the bands into 8 groups of 8 and join them together so that you have 2 chains (4 groups in each chain)
Next attach the chains to the fabric (the fabric I used was from a sock..... don’t use socks) as shown below.
Now loop the chains onto themselves and attach them to the handles of the pliers.
And there you have it your $5 dollar slingshot, of course if you wanted it to be more traditional you could use a good sturdy ’Y’ shaped stick.
You can either hold the pliers shut/open or tie them shut/open depending on the type of pliers.

Feb 16, 2007 5:42 am - the only problem with tubing is even though is tuff if it breaks you have to replace the whole tubeing for that side where as with bands if 1 breaks it makes no difference
