Easy iron powder

In this egg you will learn how to get iron powder two ways. Everyone can get it this way, that is why this is a good egg! Now on to the egg.

WAY #1

The things you will need are:

--Hand warmers
--Strong magnet
--A cup

This is how to do it: Cut open the hand warmers and dump the powder in the cup. The powder will look like coffee just so you know. Now take the magnet and stir it in the powder and take it out. You will have iron powder on the magnet, so all you have to do is wipe it off into a cup. You now have iron powder!

Way #2

You will need:

--Magnet
--A lot of sand

This is how to do it: All you have to do is sweep the magnet into the sand and you will pick up bits of iron. collect it in a cup. You now have iron powder!

Sounds good. One thing, the method with the sand will not usually be iron. It will be iron oxide, called magnetite Fe3O4. Makes good thermite, that would make iron.
