One day I got very bored so i thought of an idea. My idea was about a fuse that burn’t at an average speed. This egg is to instruct you on how to make this fuse.

This fuse burns at a speed of about 1inch every 2-4 seconds

What you need:

1.Scissors
2.Cotton thread
3.Plastic cup
4.Lamp oil
5.Terps

Step 1

Pour in a little terps in to a cup, but make sure you do the ratio of 3:1(the terps are 3 parts)

Step 2

Now pour in the 1 part or lamp oil
and shake the cup a litttle to mix the ingridiants.

Step 3

Next, cut a length of string off

Step 4

Now put your fuse into the solution and leave for 3-20 minutes.

Step 5

Light it up!

Some things
1. This fuse lights up very easly
2. Wind does not effect it much
3. The longer you leave in the solution, the quicker it burns
4. Light when it is wet, drying it make it not work as well
5. You can use this for most things, but it does not burn very quickly

Thanks for reading my egg!

I live in Australia and its hard to get a fuse. Sparklers work ok but i like this idea more because it can bend and not break.

Meh, this is a string soaked in flammable liquids. You couldn’t use it to light a firecracker, rocket, or anything with a small hole. But, for lighting a balloon with flammable gases in it, that is good. Overall, good egg, bad idea.

just use tape wrapped around a sparkler. operates underwater and doesnt break if you throw it. meh, 4*

I’ll give it a 5* for effort...its too slow for my liking. I’ll soon show you how to make a very fast burning fuse tho...
