Did you ever get one of these unbranded MP3’s, and by unbranded I mean by nobody knows about it and it’s a clone of some other MP3 like an iPod or Zune, After researching on the internet, I have a guide so you can hack your unbranded MP3!

Be careful, this might break your MP3. And not all MP3’s can be hacked.
Step One:
Before I show you, I have this type of MP3, it’s an Innovage MP3. It’s pretty good, but the design of it is really gay. I will post a picture of my MP3 later in the comments.
Now, you will need this program to figure out which firmware your MP3 is using. So download this program, don’t worry, it does not contain any virus and it will not harm your MP3.

Step Two:
After the download has completed, plug your MP3 into the USB Drive. After you completed that, open the S1fwx Tool program. This is a screen shot of how it will look like.
Now plug in your MP3 and find the drive that it’s in, mine was in the I:
Now, hit Enter and it should be extracting. Just wait a few minutes, it won’t take long.
When it is finished, you should see all the little things thats inside the MP3, hit Enter again to close it.
Now go to Repair, and open it. It will be like Extracting it, but this is faster. It will make another file called "dump.bi$"
Step Three:
Okay, now that you have extracted your firmware, by the way you can still use your MP3. You can now edit the firmware, the firmware is called "dump.bin" you don’t need the other file so erase it. Now download this program, again it does not contain any virus’s.

Sorry, your going to have to download from my file uploading thing, it won’t let me get the link, it comes with the whole thing.
Now, open up the MP3 editor program, and click on Open, now find the file which is called "dump.bin" or you probably renamed it.
When you open it, it should look like this, mess around with anything.
Just a small reminder, your image must be 128x128 which is this size:
Click on import so you can put the picture in, and must do it to the other frames.
What you can basicly do with this is change the text and images, but you cannot add different programs such as a emulator. If you would like more information on this, go to this website, it is extremely helpful.
