How to get a free router and maybe even make some money.
Recently i was on i-hacked.com and saw this article here:
This article is a how to downgrade a fon router. But i didn’t even care about that i saw a free router so i signed up and to my surprise is actually came i didn’t pay a single dime not even shipping it was all free.
O and its not were you need to go through advertisements and and get 5 friends to join you just sign up with fon and then you give them your address thats it no BS.

The only thing you need to deal with is it putting out two singles ones is your encrypted signal and then you have a public signal but is not as bad as it sounds people out side of fon can go on your WiFi but they will have to pay unless there a fon owner too. This is great if you maybe live near a starbucks or in a apartment complex.

you can track everyone that use your router and if u really dont want to share you can ether hack it to install other firmware or u can set your bandwidth to like 516kb to slow the shit out of use your wifi and for the fifth time you dont pay a dime not even shipping

Dec 02, 2007 8:02 pm - Sorry, if this is a late post. But you are the reason I’m on this site. One day I was looking for free routers on Google and I found a search for your egg off rotten eggs. I thought there was nothing i could loose,so I ordered 2 routers. They came in the mail real fast. I automatically joined this site. I put on router in my school and then one in my house. I got my school wi-fi and i figured out to have kids pay in order to use it. I live in a rich suburb in the states, and many kids have laptops even though its just high school. I made over 200 bucks on this in a matter of a few months. To this day, the router is still intact and giving internet to anyone. It even remained intact over the summer vacation. It’s well hidden within a classroom and the school IT didn’t even notice. With all of this, you are hero worthy, and not to mention. Fon contacted me about the wi-fi I was giving out and they gave me a free router. It came in the mail a few days ago, and I need to give you credit. You need to be five stared on everything because you put some serious money in my pocket. Thanks man. 5’s all around
Feb 18, 2008 8:14 am - have the router, hacked it, worked ok, if you want to port forward forget about it... great for interwebs but not for much else.
