Gee hopefully this will be my first GOOD egg. I couldn’t find a good place to put my egg so I put it here. This isn’t copied and I spent a lot of time on it. Sorry about pic quality
Before you do anything you need to figure out your budget, what you want to make and the quality of equipment and chemicals.
Find A Location
You need a good place to set up. It should have electricity and running water hopefully. Get a bricked or concrete floor, good lighting and adequate lighting. Make this your sanctuary, keep it clean and tidy. Organise everything so you know where it is. Keep the same kind of tools in one area. The shed that I have at the moment I am in the middle of setting up. I am using it as both a lab and a workshop for my motorbike.
Equipment Look around on eBay for hard to get glass ware but remember, it is almost always cheaper to buy off a specialised website or company. This one here is a good one, it sells glass ware and epoxy glues and stuff. It also sells electrical stuff, this is for all you Australians wiltronics.com.au. For Americans go to unitednuclear.com, this is a kick ass website selling chemicals, glassware (in sets!) and almost everything else.
Chemicals This is one of the hardest sections, I am not sure about Americans but for Australians some chemicals require a licence/permit. Try to avoid buying chemicals from websites/businesses because lots of the time they will be very expensive high grade chems, the shipping will also be quite expensive as depending on what you are buying there will be hazmat fee’s. Now this is one of the most important things TRY TO ORDER FROM ALL DIFFERENT COMPANYS!!! if you try to buy 10L of 75% nitric acid, 10L of 98% sulfuric, glycerin, toluene, hexamine, the company will say "hmmm these are the ingredients for high explosives like RDX, TNT, and nitroglycerin, I don’t like terrorists I am going to ring the FBI or asio or the cops"

Use your common scenes, don’t buy all these chemicals all together in big amounts, that is just asking for trouble, stick with small orders.
Here is a great Australian company based in QLD http://wagtailscientific.com.au.They sell nitric acid that you don’t need a licence for and many other awesome chems. If you not sure email them and ask them whether you need a licence for the chem you want. For Americans go to unitednuclear.com or search on Google.[img]
Safty and Security ALWAYS lock your shed door, this keeps prying eyes and little kids OUT. If you have anything illegal hide it away from your shed, if the pigs think you have been making drugs or bombs they will search EVERYWHERE. If you dont have running water keep a big container full of it near by, also keep a wash bottle full of water when doing any experiments incase you get acids in your eyes. Get a dry type fire extingisure. To dispose of chems if you like the enviroment put them in a drum and find a disposal place. Remember to dilute them before mixing them. Don’t store acids near bases eg. Nitric acid and ammonia stored near eachother can make ammonia nitrate from just the fumes. Get a MSDS of the chemicals that you have and find there imcopatibiltys. And lastly, if you can have a lab buddy or tell someone what you a doing

I know that doesn’t work, shutup you alcoholics. I thought this was a meth lab, but noo, just some dinky shack with a dead pig outside. Now I how will I rule the world?
pr 12, 2007 10:45 pm - make the pot clorate. Once you have the nitric and sulfuric acid you can do almost anything. They sell glycerine and hexamine, tolune. The prices are exspensive cause there reagent grade. Email them with the chemicals you want to see if you need permit. You dont need a permit for 75% nitric acid, 85% phosphoric acid, 24% ammounia solution but you do need one for absolute ethanol, so you can make mercury fulimate unless you distil your own alchole
