Stopping a NoseBleed

Ok so about 20 minutes ago i got the worst nosebleed ive ever gotten. It seemed unstoppable so i put different methods to the test and i created my own method for getting rid of a bloody nose. Some people reccomend leaning forward and squeezing under the bone on your nose, others reccomend leaning back and plugging your nose up.

The first step is finding out exactly why you got the nosebleed in the first place:
-Picking it too much/being punched
-Dry climate/high temperature
-Humid/Very Wet climate



General Advice for nosebleeds: Calm down, dont rush or go nuts because you will just make a mess and make things worse. Do not pick your nose further if it begins to bleed. It usually doesnt fix the problem. Dont swallow alot of blood (you will throw up everything in your stomach).

Diggin for Gold: So youre sitting around and nobodys looking, you stick your finger up your nose and blood just starts spraying out. The best way to stop this type of nosebleed is by letting the faucet pour out warm/slightly steamy water onto a washcloth/small towel. Then take that cloth and put it over your mouth and nose. Inhale the steam and water through your mouth and nose with your head leaned back slightly. If your mouth fills up with blood, try to swallow as little of it as possible and spit it into a faucet. The steam helps to clear your sinuses better. This applies to being punched in the nose as well. The blood will come out more violently when you are punched and it can last longer so when the situation is more controlled, thats when you can begin to pack your nose with kleenex. You are basically trying to create a blood clot in your sinuses so that the blood stops flowing out.

Dry Climate or High Temperature: The best way to get rid of this type of nosebleed is very similar to the steps given above. Go into your shower and turn the shower up to the highest hot water setting and let it spray steamy water. Close the door and windows and leave the vent off. The room will fill with steam. This type of nosebleed clears up very quickly and easily. Your blood will become thinner in the hot weather so it may rush out more spontaneously and faster. IT is reccomended that you lean forwards into the tub and let the excess blood drain out while squeezing the soft tissue in your nose underneath the hard bone in the middle of your nose. These nosebleeds usually cant be solved the same as the steps given above because of the climate and temperature difference.

Humid/Very Wet Climate: Sometimes this happens and you seem to have a runny nose from all the condensation. Then all of a sudden it just starts bleeding. The best way to clear this one up is by sitting in the driest room of your house. This is usually the room with the most electronics or appliances running. The heat from the appliances or electronics generally vaporizes the water out of the air and the dust is attracted to the electronics. The dryness in this room will help to dry the blood in your nose and create the blood clot quicker to stop the nosebleed.

Well thats enough about nosebleeds. If you rate me a Zero without saying why, than a big tall black man named Tyrone will punch you in the nose and then you can try to stop your nosebleed with YOUR method.

i said at the beginning of the egg that i put them to the test and created my own method. I didnt actually create it, i just compiled the different methods and sorted them to the different types of nosebleeds. This should make life easier the next time you go diggin for gold and find oil.

the real motive that caused me to write this egg was sitting watching my friend try to stop his nosebleed and he just made it worse. It basically ended up with him having vinegar and salt burns up his nose and he was screaming and he was covered in blood.
