Rising, Illinois is a small town outside of Champaign, Illinois. On the outskirts is a house thats supposedly haunted.
Story is, a woman went insane and murdered her 3 children in the upstairs rooms and then commited suicied herself.
A friend of mine, who knows an actual ghost hunter claims that there is paranormal activity in one of the rooms upstairs. The house is around 30 years old, and has deteriorated quite a bit, so we didnt go upstairs.
We started off down the road and walked through a barn thing.
We finally made our way to the house and searched for a way inside. There were several windows we could have crawled through, but decided not too because the floors might cave when we jumped in.

We got to a screen door that was boarded. This was our first point of entry, but we still searched around, because crawling one by one through the door took time, and this place is private property.

This is my friend Kentel, he was the first one to go in. We went Flashlight, camera, flashlight, in that order. I was second in. Here, we found that the front door was unlocked! So we decided to walk through.
In front of us was a hallway down towards the kitchen area. There was a staircase that lead upstairs, but we didnt go. To our left was a locked door, and to the right was possibly a family living room area.

Inside the room to the right. The cieling was falling down and looked really beat up.

Well that wraps it up. This weekend me and my buddies went all over the state and towards Indiana to get some chills. I will post eggs on those later on, and maybe even return back to this place to check the upstairs once we have some better equipment to make sure no one gets hurt.
