Everyone knows that to make a smoke bomb u need 6 parts salt peter 9potassium nitrate) and 4 parts sugar, u can get it from the anrchists cookbook or from other peoples eggs. 30 grams of portassium nitrate and 20 grams of sugar which works fine for me. However not everyone knows where u can get a hold of potassium nitrate, especially if u live in england like i do, ive found the best place to buy it from is ebay, i bought 1kg of the chemical for about £10, thats a 1000 grams of quality stuff. Also if u wanna make ur smoke bomb last longer, and have more time before the actual smoke and fire starts to come out, then than i suggest you use around 10 grams of calcium carbonate,(marble chips) now the actual smoke bomb stays the same, but like i said the smoke bomb lasts longer.
You should also check out the sellers shops, theres enough ebay sellers that have shops through ebay with a whole load of chemicals, whether its to make smoke bombs, or any other bomb that involves chemicals. Just check if the seller has any other items selling, and there should be links provied by the seller to there shops.
Now back to the Smoke Bomb, i prefer to wrap it around in tin foil after im done, cos it keeps it hidden and it burns easily through once youve lit it, also if u dont have a fuse just lying around like me, then use a matchstick, preferably a "cooks matches" one, (youlll understand if ur from england) cos it lasts longer and its more reliable then safety matches. Now after ur smoke bombs made, whether its a big or small one, it stays soft for about a minute, thats when u put the matchstick in, and i suggest if youve got any rubber lying around, (like from a tyre) then u should put some rubber chunks into it, cos the rubber will the make the smoke much thicker and stronger, the chunks should stick in soidly once the Smoke Bomb hardens. If youve got any sparklers, then u should just bend it so the powder comes off and put it onto the smoke bomb as well, like the rubber it will make the smomke thicker and stronger.
Now this is not really an egg on how to make smoke bombs, cos i already know theres probably hundreds of them already out there on rotteneggs, this is just some variations on the original Smoke Bomb which ive found out through some personal experimentation and research, i hope this helps the would be maker into making a better Smoke Bomb.
