Some of you may remember my egg ’Exploration of a small cave and water reserve’ where I showed pictures of a tunnel inside of the cave I explored. In this egg we are going into the tunnel. Me and a few friends explored it last night around 2:30 Am. It was fun, but it was really muddy. Enjoy the pics
The long walk to the cave.
The entrance
Just checking out the muck that we were about to start walking through. The water was about 2 inches deep.
A bat in the ceiling
Entrance to the tunnel
Once you turn the corner the bricks end and reveal the cave
The cave actually splits into two different ways to go. We decided to check out the left side first, which was much more muddy than the other way.
We couldn’t go very far down the left side because it got too cramped, so we turned back to go check out the other part of the cave.
I stopped and had a beer.
It hurt like hell crawling on the rocks while going around this first corner
The cave opens up here and we had to climb up into the next passageway.
We could have gone left, but we didn’t want to crawl on the rocks again.
The cave opens up again
O RLY?
This is where we couldn’t go any further.
This is where we started heading back
He came crawling out of some random hole
The long walk to our car
If you ever go explore a cave, remember to bring lots of towels and maybe even a spare change of clothes. My car is covered in mud.
The smoke in some of the pictures -I assume- is from when they were smoking near the entrance to the tunnel and it drifted back into the cave. It could just be fog though.
