If you follow where hwy. 50 meets hwy p, and go the direction of the old closed down arctic cat store you will notice a small drainage creek to your right. The creek crosses the road and gets bigger, if you keep following it to the point where it irrigates into a marsh you will notice a tree line to your right. Up the tree line there are some old tires and a barb wire fence, cross over the fence and look to your right you should see a few old crates lying around over another barbwire fence. Hop the fence there and go to your left, after a while you will notice several old buildings. A house, a barn, a shed, and an old outhouse. I have noticed many shotgun shells lying around and it looks like people shot the place up quite a bit, noting much to explore here but old buildings here, but it is rather creepy at night. I might ad pictures some day but for now all you can do is use your imagination. but to help your imagination out a little bit, the house is and old rotten and painted a light blue. Most of the paint is chipped and it is surrounded by woods, great place to hang around if you live anywhere near it, Slades corners is near Burlington, there is a store called the River Valley Ranch more commonly know as the Mushroom Farm. and a car shop Slades Corner Auto Suply, down the road is a restaraunt formaly know as Big Johns and is know Local folks.
