In this egg I will show you how to fake a web cam. It will seem as if you do have a working web cam and when viewed you can stream ANY clip on your computer through your “web cam”.
Stream/play videos and movies on Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Paltalk, ICQ, Camfrog, and on all messengers instead of actual Webcam. It streams videos and movies on your messenger just like an actual Webcam. You don’t need to have a Webcam for Webcamming. Enjoy pretending a teenage girl or someone you want to be. Your chat mate will never figure out that it’s not a real Webcam.
Download. First off you need to download the file.
Then if you don’t have WinRAR you can download it Here. Assuming you use Windows.
Installation. Run the setup.exe file and follow the prompts configuring it to your likings. Once installed copy and paste the patch.exe file into the directory it installed to, such as,
C:\\Program Files\\Fake Webcam Once it has copied run the file and click “Patch” at the bottom. Pretty simple eh?
Using The Program/Configuring. First you will need to set the program up with your preferred messenger. I will only show how to do this for Yahoo and MSN.
Yahoo. Run the program.
First start webcam select preferences.
Click the “Webcam” category then “Camera Source”
Then in the drop down box select “Fake Webcam”. You might have to restart YIM.
MSN. Run the program.
Run and sign into MSN.
Click “Tools” then “Audio and Video Setup…”
Click next until you get to the webcam section. Click the arrow on the dropdown menu and you should see “Fake Webcam”. Click that then click finsh.
Most other messenger programs will be the same, not exactly the same but try to look for similar things really. It isn’t hard at all.
Now we move onto actually FAKING the webcam stream.
Run the program.
Click the red plus icon and browse for the video you want to be streamed. I have put some videos in the file for you to use. I will tell you some ways to get more at the end of the egg.
Add the video and get your MSN chat window open and ready to roll!
Just leave it sit there, don’t play it yet.
Open your convo window and invite them to start viewing webcam. When they accept click the play button on fake webcam. When the webcam has loaded on their computer they will see the video you added as if it was coming from your “webcam.”
All done. They will think that its you!!
Miscellaneous. Getting Webcam “Streams”. - Got a girl that’s a friend with a webcam? Ask her to record a video and send it to you of her just doing nothing really, typing and shit.
- Use my HyperCam2 egg and record some random’s webcam stream. Find someone on a chat site.

This can be used for many reasons and in many ways. A few that come to mind,
- PedoBaiting. What a tool this could be for all you PedoBaiters out there.
- A simple prank. Use my HyperCam2 egg and record your friend’s webcam. After a bit of recording insert the clip, get them to “view your webcam” and make your “webcam” their webcam. Play the clip you just recorded. They would trip balls.
- Showing a mate a quick clip without having to send it or upload it to a website, just show them via “webcam”.

ive been just messing round with it, and actually put Black Sabbath’s 2007 Heaven & Hell concert as my webcam, and told the dude that i had a pda with a webcam at the concert, and he believed me!
