Im going to show you how to make a penny ball. these are good if you play baseball and are an outfielder. this will improve your throwing distance.
What your going to need: -50-200 pennies if you dont have a change jar just go up to a local store, hand them a dollar and ask for 100 pennies. thats what i did.
-a tennis ball you dont really need for anything or have found
-something sharp enough to cut a slit in a tennis ball. i used a exact-o knife.
procedure: first make a slit in a tennis ball about 1 1/2 inches long like in this pic.
mines a little brown because after awhile that happened idk why.
Second fill the ball with pennies by pinching the ball (so the slit opens) and putting pennies in.
i dont know how many just enough to where you think the weight is good. i think mines around 2-3 pounds. For this youre going to need a lot of pennies because i have a little more than 100 in mine.
Q & A: Q: i dont play baseball what would i use this for?
A: i dont play baseball either i use it to throw at people i want revenge against. it hurts like no other and leaves a pretty impressive bruise.
Q: Wont i need to tape this up?
A: no, i didnt because the slit wont open up unless you throw it perfectly at like a tree or something hard. You can tape it if you want, just use masking tape, duct tape,
or hell gorilla tape.
Q: if im a pitcher can i use this?
A: i strongly suggest not too because it will screw up your throw so much. one of my friend is a pitcher and he used this before a game, he was pulled out in the second inning.
Q: why are your pics so big?
A: because my digital camera sucks and i need to get a new one. I also didnt feel like resizing them.
Q: couldn’t i just buy a weighted baseball at a store?
A: you could, but i think this is a lot cheaper. a tennis ball you can go to a park and take from some kid or find laying on the ground, pennies you could ask for or take out of a change
jar. the only reason i had to get change from a store was that i didnt have a change jar and my parents wouldnt let me use theirs.
