This is the abandoned golf club it took us a good amount of time to get there and even longer because the temparature was close to 100 degrees.We had to take the long way because the plants and trees had grown so much that it was near impossible for us to take a short cut.But finally we came upon the open part of the field.
The field had been burned a couple of years ago and it was left blackened by the fire.Since dry plants burn easily there was no way of stopping it the entire field was engulfed. This summer there was plenty of rain and sunlight so it gave the plants a chance to restore themselves.The place hasnt looked this way in a long time.Luckily the fire didnt make it all the way to the building.
This place is full of gently rolling hills and some flat areas which makes it a perfect place to ride ATVS or dirtbikes.
There are these weird plants that near dusk or on cloudy days look like clouds of smoke.
This bridge over a pond is a great place to come to and just reflect on things.
Almost there. The last time we came this close it was at night and my friend screamed WTF! When he saw a baby deer it was hilarious.They chickened out and started running away. I had to run with them because it was pitch black that night and they had the only flashlights we brought.
We decided to go through the back area.The pool was full of stagnant water and who knows what else.A breeding ground for mosquitoes.
Theres our entrance.
Restroom nothing in here but strange odors and...odors.
This place is HUGE it is like a mansion!
The main room it was pretty much empty with the exception of a few pieces of furniture here and there.
We came upon this room and there was nothing else in it except a singular table that had a dry erase board sitting on top.There were pieces of wood that were broken and used to board up the windows.Yeah...at this point we were pretty much spooked.No idea where this came from.
We decided to continue and go downstairs where there was a golf shop. There were old golf shoes and clubs here among other things.There was a cash register but whatever money had been in there was gone it was broken. We found something strange down here too. There were drivers licenses from various people that all ended the same year weird.
The garage it is so big that the flashlight couldnt cut threw the darkness.We went about half way in and turned back. At this point the flashlight was dying so we had to get out of there.
We went back upstairs to the office there was a safe in here that had scars from someones failed attempts to open it.Also we could hear something in the walls when we came here. It was probably rats or something but i didnt understand how they could survive if there was no food in the place. We didnt dare go into the attic to find out.
We went to the bar/kitchen area and found the fridge, we opened it...big mistake the smell that came out of it had obviously been baking and brewing in there for years.I wasnt prepared for that lol.
After the frige made us dizzy we decided it was time to go.

Jun 10, 2007 10:18 am - Yeah there were ALOT of fire extinguishers in there and we did have fun with them there were many different kinds too. We sprayed each other with them and also coated some of the furniture.In the kitchen we found one that sprayed some kind of weird smelling liquid.

Jul 10, 2007 9:11 am - We originally thought it was just a golf field and never gave it a second thought.We didnt even notice it was abandoned but one day we realized that people never go to it and we decided to see what was there.
Even if i wanted to i dont think i would have enough money to buy that place from them anytime soon lol.
Aug 05, 2007 1:28 pm - If i were you, i’d claim that as my hangout. Put the place back together a bit and go and crash there when your bored or want to getaway. I’d be prepared for realtors or something though. Great egg 5*
