Making Your Own WoW Private Server Using Antrix
Programs Needed
The Main File Package -- http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BEMJSP0F

Navicat - http://www.navicat.com/
MySql - http://www.mysql.com/
First Extract the pack somewhere on your computer.
Now it’s time to setup MySQL. Find your MySQL Folder and Run the MySQL 4.1 server.exe
Choose Typical Setup
Skip the account creation step.
Then Install and it click configure MySQL now
Choose Standard Configuration.
Everything should be setup on this next step, so just change the dropdown thing to MySQL 4 and click next DO NOT check anything else.
Now choose a MySQL Password, Just set it to root like I did it’s really short and easy to remember.
Now click Execute
It will look like this when you are finished executing.
Click finish. Now open Navicat, the cracked version is posted above .
Create a new connection to your MySQL Server. Name it Antrix. The password will be root, or if you decided to go with something else at the security settings page it will be what you set it too.
Create an new database and call it antrix, that is if it’s not already there. Then Right click on the ANTRIX Database and click Execute batch file.
Then search in your pack for Sql Database, there should be 1 file in there call antrix.sql Choose that.
Now this is the long part, it’s creating your whole database. Go for a walk, watch tv, get some food, this will take a while depending on how your computer is :-)
It will look like this when it is finished.
Now let’s make an account for you to login with!! Open your Antrix databse and click Tables then choose accounts, Sorry I lost my SS For this step, Choose your account name and password, set your GM Level to 3 as this is the max rank in antrix. Go all the way to the end and set flags to 8. Then click the check mark at the bottom.
Now we edit the conf files. so you can actually start your server up. We will start with antrix.conf. Open up this file in notepad and change it to look like this.
Now open Logonserver.conf and make it look like this.
Scroll way down and look for Maxclientbuild and set the Bottom numbers to 6999
Now open realms.conf, theres not a whole lot to edit in here accept you can edit your realm name and popularity and stuff. Like mine.
If you want to add more realms simply change the realm count to how many realms you have, change the name and before everything you see Realm1. change it to Realm2. Realm3.for what ever realm # you are on.
Now go back into your antrix folder, and click logonserver.exe and antrix.exe doesn’t matter what order, this will start the servers up, you will know when there done when the look like this
There you go!! Now, set your realmlist to 127.0.0.1
Open WoW and login with the account you just made!! If you get stuck at connect click cancel and try a few times, you have to get lucky. You will get in eventually.

5* but the purpose of an MMO is to play with other humans, to have an E-life, but eh private servers can be cool too mess around on, if you have the codes. |

ive only really used a private server for testing things, i would rather play live servers with my friends lol, raiding by yourself isnt fun either lol |

5* for the amount of effort, but i don’t see the use for it (that and wow is a ridiculously easy mmorpg) |

also do you need WoW to do this cause if you do you should include that in the needed things list...

what version of WoW do i have to have for this to work? i say this because i just torrented it and it came with a v1.4 patch, but when i try to connect to my server, it says "Could not verify files" or some bullshit like that |

its the latest patch, which is 2.1.6 i believe, this also works with burning crusade, its not a requirement that you have burning crusade, but if you have it, it just lets you have more content....my next egg should be up soon, it will show you how to set up your server to were you can let your friends connect...then iam gonna make another one with the special cheat codes that let you be uber 1337 lol |

i did this a while ago.
it was a hassle people always asking...ooooh please can i be a GM. yeah gay. fun to fool around with the codes and stuff but more fun with people. |
