Welcome!
In this egg I will be sharing 3 of my Photoshop tricks!
I will also be showing you some of my work!
Onto the Egg.
[1] - Vortex
Very easy once done, I mastered this in an hour.
Step 1 - Start with a canvas of your choice in size. I choose 300x300 pixels.
Now Go; Filter > Render > Clouds.
Step 2 - now go; Filter > Pixelate > Mezzotint
Set to Short Strokes.
Step 3 - Now go; Filter > Blur > Radial Blur.
Set to 100 and check boxes Zoom and Best. Now To repeat this.
Step 4 - Now go; Filter > Distort > Twirl.
Set to 100.
Now Duplicate the layer, and set the Blending Mode to Lighten.
Now go; Filter > Distort > Twirl on that layer.
Set to -200. Now merge all layers.
Step 5 - Time to add color!
Press to open the Hue/Saturation menu. Check boxes Colorize and Preview. Drag the top bar to set the color to your liking. Drag the second bar to adjust the vibrancy of the color.
And there you have a custom made vortex!
[2] - Day = Night
This is an interesting effect, working better with pictures that have a definitive light source, and a low array of colors.
Step 1 - Acquire your picture. I used this random one from Google Images.
Now Duplicate the layer, And invert the colors of the duplicated layer.
Step 2 - Set the Blending Mode to Hue.
Step 3 - Now, Merge the layers.
Now this is looking basic. Adjust the brightness of the image; Change Lightness to around -40.
Finished!
[3] - Fire.
Ok. I’m lazy? I couldn’t be bothered writing and Screen Shoting this tut. Why? See for yourself.
And it’s 5:11am. Gay ass Insomnia.

Ok, here’s some of my works.
A piece inspired by the song "Her Ghost in the Fog - Cradle of Filth". I also made a video to this song from the movie Thir13en Ghosts, Called; Thir13en Ghosts, In The Fog. Catchy eh?
