ok so im not gonna lie to you, the truth is wqith any of these stunts there is no safe way to light yourself on fire, no mater how many precautons you use theres always a huge amount of danger involved. trust me there really isnt a safe way of doing it. im only 15 but i do fire stunt shows at partys and stuff. doing stuff from swallowing fire to lighting my selt on fire shoulders down, and theres no thing called saftly lighting yourself on fire not even if you use fire protective gear, but there are some things you can do to mmake it safer but it will never be 100% safe so use your fucking head!!!
first things first when your lighing you self on fire make sure your where people cant see you unless they no your porposly doing this, because if another person just ses you on fire they will think its an emergancy
also you probally have haerd this, you probally didnt think it would be important but no your surroundings dont be it tall grass, dont be near dry stuff that can be burn easly,the best place to do these type of things is on dirt. trust me i no, once when me and my friends were practising for a show we tryeed the stunt in the woods with dry leaves all around, we made a mistake and we instently light about a basket ball court size fire in the woods and endded up have mexican workers that were working on sum dudes lawn come running over n dug a mote around it so it would spread and it eventually died out, but it really was scarry as FUCK!!!!!!!!
another thing is never use to much fuel if you think you have to much fuel you dont need that much and remember when your on fire the fires going to try and go up, so when i light myself on fire shoulders down i stoped using fuel about mid chest and it weent all the way to my shoulders.
another thing to remember is try to light your self on fire where you have clothes, you dont need fire protective clothes regular will do.
another thing to do before you light up is plan how your gonna get the fire out, do not think rolling on the ground will work, it doesnt. normally when i do these type of things im near a river or i have 2 or 3 fire extiguishers, if you use fire extinguishers make sure you have a way to signal the people with them when you wat to be put out
and watch out for the crazy mother fuckers that call the cops

a good yet old way to light your self on fire
Go to a drugstore and get a liquid thats called Heptane. its like gasoline its for cleaning cuts
make a torch, just use a small rag on a wood pole pour some heptane on it this stuff burns very well Light your torch and place it where you wanna be on fire
another great fuel and my favorite to use is wd40, it burns fast, easy to apply looks great and doesnt really hurt or feal that hot. some times what i do to make the fire last longer is add a TINY bit of gas to it like around 9 parts wd40 1 part gas
good effects
have an explosion from behind you and have it unexpetcing dont let people no whats going to happen
use a smoke bomb behind you makes it look so much better and some what pro
another really good effect great for pics is: take 2 small peices of wood that fit in the palm of your hand apply a TINY bit of gas place in the palms of both hands tilt your hand back so the camera wont be able to see the wood light and them...it then looks like both hads are on fire...the reason for the wood is 1 it doesnt hurt/burn your hand, 2 incase the jackass taking the pic doesnt no how to take a pic or takes for ever, you dont want you actual hand on fire for that long
i really dont care what you rate me because i no that this is helpfull to some people and could keep them from getting 3rd degree burns, i really dont care...but 5* would be nice lol
