Auto-running your flash drive is very simple to do.
First off, open note pad and create a new text document.
In your new document type
[AUTORUN]
open=launch.bat
Action="Your text here"
For the "your text here" part, whatever you type will show up when it autoplays.
Save it as Autorun.inf. When it saves, there will be no .inf selection, so just go to save as all files and choose .inf.
Next, you have to make the bat file.
Open up notepad again, and this time type the programs that you want to start, do not put the drive name, just the folder and application.
All you need to do is write "start (application folder\\application name)" woth out the parenthesis.
WHen all that is done, it should look something like this, depending on how many applications you put on or didn’ put on. I chose to have Firefox Portable and my start menu for my flash drive start up.
We said in our autorun file, it would be named launch.bat, so thats how we’ll save it. Its the same process for the .inf as the .bat, just choose all files instead of text document and type in Launch.bat
Once you have both of those files, save them to your flash drive. They should take up very little space.
Now, the next time you plug it in, it should auto run and ask you if you want to open your files.
Once you choose to open them, they will automatically start up.
im not quite sure about what you’re talking about but the end result is more convenient. but yeah 5*s
You know when you have a cd, and it just starts automatically when you put it in? Well thats what I’m telling you how to do, bu with a flash drive instead.
