this is an egg on how to make a small "weapon" that can fire almost anything that fits in the barrel. i decided to make it as i needed something that was easier to load than my last egg and more powerful, this was the result -

to make it you will need -
a pencil
a strong rubber band
a berol pen
webbed tape (duct tape)
a pair of scissors
pliers (optional)
a small screwdriver
Step 1 - the pen firstly get your pen and remove the nib and cap from each end and remove the cartridge thing from inside (you can chuck these away as you wont need them)
then cut of the end of the pen where the nib was so that you are left with a hollow tube with a constant width
then get your elastic band and place it 2 3rds of the way up the barrel so that the band goes all the way around it and place a thin piece of tape length ways either side of the barrel to secure it, then to make it more secure wrap tape around the barrel both above and below the elastic band,
You should be left with this -
this is now your barrel finished.
Step 2 - the "plunger"
firstly get your pencil and if it has been sharpened that cut of the sharpened end
then with your small screwdriver pierce a small hole through the pencil about half an inch up from the end
then unbend the paper clip and push it through the hole, once you have done so bend the paper clip up wards and then hook it back down so it looks like this -
then to secure the pencil and to help prevent it from splitting wrap tape around the end
step 3 - putting the piece’s together
now put the pencil inside the barrel with the paper clip the opposite end to the elastic band and hook each side of the elastic band over the paperclip.
NOTE; you may want trim the pencil down so it doesn’t stick out the other end of the barrel as this will make it easier to load
you should then end up with this -

you can fire anything out of these so use your imagination but i use this - (which is part of a dissection kit thing i stole from school)
when fired from seven feet away into my wardrobe door it stick in about 2 cm -

Aug 08, 2007 12:29 pm - Why not just throw a pair of scizzors at someones face? It would do more damage and takes less time/effort to make. 3* ’cuz it was the first number between 1-5 to pop int my head.
Aug 08, 2007 12:49 pm - I have a suggestion, instead of using the paper clip (because too me it looks like it would bend easy under stress) just cut the elastic band and then thread it through the whole you made on the pencil, then tape it liek you said, just a suggestion, i gave you 5* anyway
