First off you will need
- A Fire Starter Kit
- Shoes
- Hammer and Flathead Screwdriver/Chisel
- Drill
The shoes
This is what the Fire Starter Kit I got looks like
That big block is Magnesium so yea....
Take the screwdriver and put it where the black meets the silver part, and give it a solid hit
The Black Part is what you want
Put the screwdriver on it and break it into four pieces...it breaks pretty clean
Now make a hole wherever you want...I had to do it the ghetto way

-Tips-
- Leave about 1/4 to 1/2 of it sticking out, too much and it will break or fall out
- Try to avoid placing it in the middle of your shoe, as it will make walking akward
- Obviously you want to make the hole smaller than the flint, as tight as possible while still being able to fit it in there
- Lighter flints would be the same principle but aren’t as sturdy and won’t last as long
- You can easily take theses out anytime with a set of pliers

You can get the exact same fire starter at walmart.
Plus, you get a big block of magnesium to do as you wish with.

KOREAMANit doesn’t stay hot long enough to melt or burn, but It will eat at your shoe when kick the ground/concrete
I don’t suggest using a really expensive pair of shes unless you really think its worth it btw |

kiiirby you don’t have to kick the ground, just scrape it if you want. I was just prvoing the worked and so everyone could see it
and yes the Fire Starter should be at most camping shops, but I got mine at wal-mart

and i was left with all the rod things
I may try this,
but from what I know, they spark when his by steel,

yea it will work on any type of concrete or hard material
it lasts for a long time, maybe 100 kicks for half a rod |

dude you really make great eggs man keep up the good work. 5* on egg n profile. Oh and btw ppl....the rod is actually flint.....witch is why when u strike it on metal or something similar....tiny specs of red hot flint and or metal come flying out. |
