I despise the mall. Everywhere I look, humanity disgusts me. You’ve got 13 year old girls dressed like 40 year old prostitutes, fat people stuffing their faces, old people walking around with their jaws open because they forget to close them...
Where was I? Oh, yeah, the internet kiosks at the mall!
The cable company is demonstrating the speed of cable modems, and has a couple of computers set up in the unrented space in the middle of the mall. Now, they stupidly leave the computers unsupervised, and didn’t do anything for security.
If you’d like to do a DoS attack with ping, you can do that from the mall, there is nothing to stop you.
Instead, I punch up your favorite web page and mine, http://www.rotteneggs.com, and leave it on the browser for all to click through. There is nothing there to remove the last site the browser visited.
However, it does have a porn filter, which also filters out sites that crash your browser, as well as sites they deem pornographic or obscene. Fortunately, if you point the browser to bablefish.altavista.com, you can access forbidden sites, in spite of the filter! Porn is funnier in Spanish anyway. Go to babelfish, put in the banned site, and walk away.
Last, go ahead and crash the browser. There will be no one to reboot the computer. Here’s one of my favorite browser-crash sites: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/you.html (don’t go there now, unless you want to crash YOUR browser). The graphics and music fit in nicely at the mall, nobody notices for hours. |
