All the books in the library have a magnetic strip. When you check out a book, the librarian has to demagnify it, otherwise, it will set off the alarm at the door. At my school, anyone who sets off the alarm is assumed to be stealing library materials, and has to serve detention after school for three days.
Knowing this, go to where they keep the fiction books, and pull out some of those insipid books written for 12 year old girls, like the Babysitters Club series. Why the fzck do they keep those things in a high school library? Or, find a book about puberty or venerial disease. Look for titles like "Am I Normal?" Plant the book(s) in your marks backpack when theyre not looking. When they leave, the alarm will go off, confusing the hell out of your mark. The confusion will turn to embarrassment when the librarian searches the backpack and pulls out the Babysitters Club, puberty, and venerial disease. To add insult to injury, they have to spend an hour in the hole after school for three days!
Sometimes you can make free photocopies on the Xerox machine if you first put in your dime, and hit the change return button at the same time you press the start button on the copier. And, Im sure you realize you can steal books if you hold them over your head as you walk through the security gate on your way out. |
