I havn’t been on for a lont time and I thought to submit an egg. if your going to bitch, go away. i’m prob. not going to comment to any or u.
ok, this might be helpful for u pyros and other potheads and stuff.
here goes
stuff
1 unused instant ice pack
zinc powder
table salt
scale (for grams sizes)
mortor and pestle
how to
cut open the instant ice pack and your find a packet of water and some white powder aka ammonium nitrate in granulated form. discard the water bag.
with the scale, get 3g of ammonium nitrate, 1/2g of table salt, and 7 grams of zinc powder. i happended to have a stock of zinc so i used a fine sand paper to get the powder. add the ammonuim nitrate and table salt and grind until a fine nice powder.use the motor and pestle and grind away with the zinc powder until a black powder. careful, it ingites with sweat and a few drops of water don’t do this when theres a lot of moisture. use it quickly or store it somewhere airtight and likely places are a thermos. is a bag is near coldness, water might condense inside and thats bad. kind of.

I severly doubt this, so ill hold my vote. I dont see what the ammonium nitrate is for, thats just fertilizer, and the zinc is just that...its in pennies. |

did you hear some guy in oklahoma blew up a building using firtilizers. go to homepedot or some place and ask for 20 bags of fertilizer. the’re going to ask you for what use. |

Alle_mussen_sterben, what knowledge background are you basing this on?
Knowing Homedepot, i’d say they wouldn’t care, also zinc in pure form is very flammable and reactive, esspecially when added to table salt (NaCl)

Yeah, this works. The salt is a catalyst fr the break down of ammonium nitrate, and the zinc is a fuel, and ammonium nitrate the oxidizer. Zinc has no oxide layer, and is very reactive, so usually ignites with water contact. |

this is the old "negative X" formula, but he substituted ammonium chloride for sodium chloride (salt). im not sure if you can do that, but if it still works then 4*.

hey dumbfuck, instant ice packs only have LIQUID AMMONIUM NITRATE. you cant fucking squeeze a packet of powder and expect it to burst like a liquid would do...thats why the ice packs use liquid.... |

Hey dumbfuck, I’ve bought 5 iof them already, and they ALL have the ammonium nitrate in solid prills.
Oh, and also, theres no way it would work as well if it was in liquid(dissolved i hope, because you cant melt ammonium nitrate, it just turns to gas) It HAS to be in solid form, theres usually 70-100 grams of ammonium nirate in there for $2. |

the liquid is WATER, the granules are AMONIUM NITRATE. dont go calling people dumbfucks when you have no clue what you’r talking about. |
