This may seem like a simple egg but it is a nugget of very rare knowledge.
All you need is stink bombs. The ones with the yellow liquid in the glass anvils, this is ammonia sulfide. When the anvil is broken it will release hydrogen sulfide gas and ammonia. Hydrogen sulfide gas when in contact with copper turns it black. As bronze is an alloy of mostly copper, it will turn black. Just chuck a few of these stink bombs at a bronze statue and it will be stained black.
Sep 06, 2007 1:41 am - Sounds plausible, but i probably would never do this seeing as most bronze statues are commemorating great or historically important people, and I’d feel like an ass defacing the statue of a war hero or something like that. Now, if i managed to find a large bronze statue of someone I don’t like, this might come in handy.
