Okay in this egg I will show you how to level up as fast as allowed on Rotteneggs. (Recommended reading for level 1’s to level 30’s)

DOUBLING DPL (lv. 1-5)
Ok everyone that joins RE starts off as a lvl.1.
Well those of us in the lower levels (1-5) every point counts for leveling up.
There are few things lower levels can do to drastically increase the points they get daily.
Ok say a lvl.1 makes an egg.
X amount of points givin to eggs by votes are multiplied by that of the level of the member who voted.
lv.5 votes 5*s 5x5=25
lv.20 votes 3*s 20x3=60
so on...
Now it isn’t a sure fire way to increase your point intake but say our lv.1 just made their egg. If the first person who votes is a level 10 and they give them 4*s, that equals 40 points. So even though our lv1’s DPL is 20 he/she just earned themselves double that for that day. So basically all the lv.1 has to do is create an egg that isn’t shit! easy right? well appearnatly not, since most level 1 eggs gets dropped.
The same goes for lv.1-5’s but once you get past level 5 small amounts of points don’t reall make much of a difference.
SAVING POINTS TO SKIP LEVELS (lv.1-30)
I’m not sure if any of you have noticed but on some levels the DPL is actually decreased from that of the previous levels.
This occurs on levels 2, 11-13, 21-25, and 31. (Ref. table 1)
All that has to be done to bypass these decreases is to save your points until you have enough to jump to the level that has a higher DPL.
So if you are a level 1, save your points until you have a total of 250 points so you can jump to lv.3.
This saves a total of 5 days.
If you are level 10, save your points until you have a total of 147,004 points so you can jump to lv.14.
This saves a total of 8 days.
If you are level 20, save your points until you have a total of 739,667 points so you can jump to lv.26.
This saves a total of 12 days.
If you are level 30, save your points until you have a total of 550,151 points so you can jump to lv.32.
This saves a total of 10 days.
NOT PISSING OFF THE MEMBERS OF RE (all levels)
Sounds pretty self-explanitory right?
it is.
Don’ts:
~Flame other members without resonable cause
~Copy ANY information for the making of an egg
~Post unnecessary threads
~Post eggs or threads with misleading titles
~Post eggs containing links, spam, bomb
making, drugs, drug pariphinalia(sp), theft,
scams, or basically anything illeagal.
~Delete comments left by other members.
~ADVERTISING your eggs.
~TyPiNg LyKe DiS. unacceptable
Do’s:
~Make eggs worth reading and rating
~Make eggs original, creative, only as complex
they have to be, useful, and informative, with
pictures, paragraphs, and correct spelling.
~Post threads with somthing interesting to talk
about.
~Vote on eggs according to their level of above
listed. (if it deserves a 5 give it a 5)
~If you are level 2 or higher comment with your
votes on eggs explaining the good and bad
points. constructive critisizm.
REDEEMING YOURSELF FROM FLAMES (all levels)
If you piss off the members your eggs or profile don’t stand much chance against their repetitive 0ing. I know from personal Experience.
Apologizing- give your apology to those you pissed off and maybe they will forgive you "I’m sorry for being an asshat" is a good place to start.
Ass kissery- If apologies fail and you are THAT concerned with popularity, resort to kissing ass. "I am such a n00b and you pwn my ass"
Time- Time repairs all...give it long enough and everyone will have forgotten about your faggotry.
Being a productive member of RE- Just that...make yourself useful, construct good eggs, make friends.
POINT INTREST (all levels)
Point intrest is the points you automatically earn for signing in everyday.
There are quite a few ways to increse point intrest. The higher your point intrest the more you get for simply logging on to RE.
Level- with greater level comes greater respo... erm point intrest...
Ratings- your profile rating increases or decreaces point intrest aswell.
Site Ranking- has a noticable affect on your intrest.
Eggs- The number, rating, and number of dropped eggs also affects your point intrest.
Groups- How many groups you are a part of affects your intrest.
Egg points- amount of eggpoints you have has an affect on intrest also.
Friends- the amount of friends you have affects your point intrest.
Ironically all of the above mentioned are easy to attain if you follow the guidlines of other topics mentioned in this egg
Post count- The number of posts you’ve made while on RE has an affect on intrest too.
ALTERNATIVE EGG POINT SORCES (all levels)
There are a few ways to get extra eggpoints here on RE other than voting on eggs and having your eggs voted on.
RE Lotto- you can purchase tickets for one egg point a piece and a total of 5 a day. Of course the more tickets you buy the better your odds are of being picked as the winner. Odds vary depending on how many tickets are bought, as does the jackpot.
Puzzle pieces- Between the bottm and the top of every hour, one member that is logged onto RE is givin a puzzle piece. The pieces you can recieve are R O T E N G and S. If you get enough pieces to spell out ROTTENEGGS you are awarded 1000 points x your level. So if you are a level 10 you’d win 10,000 points. If you are a level 5 you’d win 5,000 points.
(I studied and recorded those randomly chosen and times chosen to see if there might have been any mathematical pattern and discovered no conclusive evidence proving it.) =[
Betting- often RE has bets taken between 2 teams of assorted sports. The bets will be taken in the General Discussion section. Depending on what team you are betting on and how much you bet constitutes your pay-off. The odds begin from 10:13 for one team and 10:17 on the opposite. Meaning if you bet 100 points on 10:13 odds the pay-off will be 130. If you bet 100 points on 10:17 odds your pay-off will be 170.

Sep 07, 2007 2:59 am - Shady, you shouldn’t tell people when you rate their profiles down. your only a level 4, your vote isn’t the be all and end all of someones rating. Now hes probably going to repay the kind favor, with much greater consequences.
In contrast to your egg, we don’t want lots of noobs making level 2 and posting in our forums. We only want the smart ones that can actually figure this all out themselves, and even so, respect outweighs member level in vast ways. Take for example, rachie. She posts lyke fukkn this lol[/rachietalk] and even though she was level 18 or so, no one respects her. (Alot of people do, but not as much as say.. rZ or grunter)
You need to think these things over, and delete your account (or your IRL self, possibly?)
