Two friends and I decided one night that it would be cool to climb on top of my high school (Hugenot) and just check it out. Keep in mind that we live in the suburbs and you get cops called on you for every little thing. We found three different ways up, and just walked around going to every wing and rooftop. We came back a few days later to launch a model rocket off the highest roof. The Gym roof (which was the highest) was on a separated portion as per the other roofs. So we had to use a more difficult way to get up the first roof and then climb a 15-20 foot ladder up to the gym rooftop. There we set up the rocket engine, but the batteries were dead. I called my friend who was keeping watch for cops in the field and told him to bring us some batteries and passed them up on the lower part of the roof. It was so funny when it hit a passing car when we launched it. Luckily he didnt see us. We were about to leave when the friend in the field called my cell phone and told me 2 cop cars just pulled into the parking lot. They talked for a few minutes and then slowly pulled out watching our general vicinity. Us three however were face down on the rooftop getting updates from my friend in the field. Then the leading cop car speed off while the second one slowly followed. They both left and we felt it was time to come down. We are going to go back with our girlfriends.
