Hey its Buckethead-7156 and I want to teach you how to make fish and chips!
OK so you will need about 1-2 fillets of fish I usually use cod cause it doesn’t get all fucked up when you fry it.
For the Fish
Oil and butter for the pan
About3/4 cup of four
3/4 cup of water use more if batter is not thick enough
1 table spoon of baking soda
1 tablespoon of vinegar (mix with water so the baking
1 teaspoon of salt
soda doesn’t blow up and ruin your batter
And maybe 3-4 potatoes.
For the Chips
2-3 big potatoes
Seasoning salt
Oil
Ok you take your water, flour, bakin soda, vinegar, and salt and mix it all together in a bowl. Add more flour is it is to runny, Then take your choice of fish and put it in the batter.
Then put a fairly large skillet on the burner and put a fair amount of oil and a little hunk of butter.
Then start cutting up your potatoes into fries quite large. put them on a pan or in a metal bowl that you cam put in the oven, add some oil and seasoning salt.
mix around. Put in the oven at maybe 450 degrees Fahrenheit checking on them every once and a while because you don’t want them to burn do you?
Your skillet should be ready so add the battered fish3 pieces at a time because I made em last night and they all got stuck together and there was raw batter in between al of the pieces.
After a while check of the fries if they are don’t bring em out if they aren’t put em back in. flip your fish if the bottoms are golden brown.
Repeat the same thing once you think the fish is ready then take it out and put it on a plate to let it cool off.
by this time your fries should be ready so bring em out and plate em. there you have a classic English supper this my great-grandmas recipe!
Enjoy
(tips)
(1) after a while in the oven take the fries out and flip them around so all of them get cooked.
(2) I enjoy putting lemon or vinegar on my fish for a bit of taste
This is not a c/p you can check it out on Google but I guarantee you wont find anything like this!
By the way I used Microsoft word to type this so all the stuff is perfect I used spell check!

Oct 07, 2007 1:43 am - 5* and favs, I like cooking eggs, and I have never seen a recipe for fish and chips. I would have marked you down for grammar, but it has been noted. And I don’t need pictures to cook.
