This is my first egg by the way, so if you have any pointers for future ones, do tell!
Im going to tell you how to bypass any Websense/Cybersitter/Internet Filter easily so that you can get on Rotteneggs.com or any other website that you need to see in times of need under certain circumstances.
First, You need to have a website that you want to get to. We will use www.addictinggames.com for an example.
I want to go to www.addictinggames.com! BUT:
So, now that i have the site i want to go to, and i know that it is blocked, then I’m set.
Open the start menu, and click on the "Run..." button. (Below)
Now, you should be able to type in "command" in the following box that appears. (Below)
Now, after clicking OK, you should see this a similar big black box. (Below)
Now, You should type in the following:
ping {name of website}
or in our example,
ping www.addictinggames.com
and it should look like this:
After hitting the Enter button, you should see the following:
Now, if you look closely, you can see there is an IP address of the website like so:
Now, heres the part where you have to pay attention. See where the yellow IP address is circled? Well, directly to the left of that is a weird looking website address (viacom-3.vo.llnwd.net). Well because that does not say something very similar to www.addictinggames.com, then my method will not work. So, Lets change our website to www.google.com
Go back to the big black command box, and type in
ping www.google.com
as you see you will get an answer like:
www.1.google.com [216.239.51.99] bla bla
Since, it says www.google.com in it, then it will work.
So now, Open your browser and type in the IP address of the website we just found above of google
[216.239.51.99], and It will open the Google website and you may browse around without being blocked by a filter or websense.

Oct 07, 2007 3:16 pm - My school has websense, and i do it all the time at school so it has to work.. Anyways, Websence and internet filters are mostly text based filters they do not block the sites IP address there are way too many to block. They ussually just search the adress for words like games or sex or something like that and if its marked to block, then it will not let you see it.. But using my method, all it thinks your seeing is 24.366.214.34 or so instead of www.games.com

Oct 07, 2007 7:30 pm - Your sysadmin may have lazily configured your firewall. We have the enterprise edition at work and like I said, you can get through it ONCE using the IP address and then it figures it out.
Oct 08, 2007 1:44 pm - Or, you could just go to Firefox.com because it’s not blocked and download it there. Just make sure that you do a custom installation so that you can put it in your documents folder. Btw 5*
Oct 31, 2007 7:15 am - Free2Flow8:Download poledit.exe. It fits on a floppy, and it is made by Microsoft. You can unlock regedit.exe and use regedit to unlock anything ;).
