okay this is a little thing that you can make that can be concealed in a pocket or whatnot, but it is very powerful and hurts like a bitch.
What you need
-1 mechanical pencil
-a few long 22. caliber bullets
-1 vise grip
-1 receipt
-1 small bowl or bag
Supplies
First take a bullet and clamp the soft lead slug in the vise grip. Make sure that it is firmly in place, but not to tight to were it will cuting through the lead.
Grab the casing and bind down slowly until the slug is completely separated
dump out the gun powder into your bowl, or bag and save for later.
tare off a piece of your receipt and wrap it around your casing like so.
Now remove the top of your pencil and discard
Slide the casing with the paper on it into the pencil tube so that the tube that the lead goes into is inside the casing, leave a little of it hanging out so that you dont burn the plastic on the pencil.
now take your handy dandy torch lighter (or other) and hold the flame to the end or the bullet
In a few seconds the primer will explode and the casing will fly off like a bullet (no pun intended)

and as you can see in the vid i used a hard plastic pencil with a crack in it.....that made it explode into a million pieces

Q- why cant i get it to work for me?
A- your probably using a used case
Q- i keep burning the pencil. how can i keep from doing that?
A- wrap the end in foil

Oct 09, 2007 7:47 pm - 3*...what do you do with the gun powder and wont it like hit your hand if your lighting it on fire? sounds liek that would hurt. and does this shoot like a bullet and pierce your body or just more like a sling shot type hurt
Oct 09, 2007 7:53 pm - A primer is a percussion induced charge that is lit by the percussion of the firing pin. This small sensitive charge sets of the larger charge.
When there is no powder, the gas created by the charge expands. The pressure builds up inside the pen tubing, forcing the shell out the other end.
People should just pay me to write their eggs for them.
Oct 09, 2007 7:58 pm - well i didnt realy think i would have to explian exactly how this works but thats true... and you can make a rocket or somthing with the gun powder.....and no it shouldnt break skin unles it spins around in mid air and the sharp side hits somone

Until my mate tried to hit 4 at once, and the hammer bounced back up from the force and cracked his skull open. What a nub.
