Be aware that parkour is a dangerous sport.
Also its best if you have the appropriate
gear to start parkour.
Clothing that you can move freely in.
Track pants Are good because they are cheap and loose
Any kind of shirt but not to tight
Shoes try to get a gribby shoe with soft soles go to Big w,k mart,Target or a Sports shop.
Once you have got all the right stuff you should go practise pk (parkour). You can improve your parkour skills by practisin it and conditioning

Is workouts traceurs youse to get stronger to climb faster jump higher and longer all together improve your parkour skills. There are many conditioning exercises they are broken dow into 3 groups upper,core,lower body conditioning here are some exercises.

Handstands on walls
Core conditioning
Sit ups
Sit up twists
Crunches
Lower body conditioning
Squats
Pistols
Calf raises
Explosive squats
And always walk around on your toes
The basic vaults
Monkey.
Kong.
Speed.
dash.
kash.
The basic Flips
Front.
Back.
Side.
Butterfly kick and twist.
Other
Cat leap
Precision jump
you can use variations kong to cat etc.

I take Seikido, Kick-Boxing and have taken regular Karate, and yet have never heard of it.
Ok. This could be applied to any of them as well so i would recommend stating that. Also because this is something everyone should know. 1*
Oct 11, 2007 5:49 pm - Parkour isn’t a martial art, FireStarter. It’s basically running around and jumping over stuff. It’s quite fun once you get enough practice and skill. I did it for a while but it got boring.
