In this egg,I will show you how to turn a skate bearing into a polished up ring.I would advise using a old bearing as your not destroying a new one for this.
You first want to remove the bearing from the skate wheel.
Take a skate tool or screwdriver and pry out the bearing.
Now take off the shields if your bearings have removable shields or you can pry out the ball retainer.
You want to do this to both sides so nothing is holding the ball bearings in place.
Now that everything is removed, you should be left with the bearing case.
As you can see,the bearing has been darkened by dirt, rust, ect.
Take a dremel and attach a steel wire grinder to it then follow up with a nylon head.Proceed to clean until the case is polished and free of any dirt.
The bearing should be cleaner and polished by now.
Voila! You now have a pretty much free ring that will not break nor bend. |

More like brown. He said he had to clean the rust of which means the rust can leave a nice brown ring on your finger. For some people having a brown ring on their finger is normal. Not for me, though. lololol 4* |

you could possibly find a bering in your size but it wouldn’t be for skating and most skatebearings are the same size, only the wheel changes |
