I got some Hem Champa incense and my old table got moved into the den so I had no place to burn the incense (I made a hole and an ash catcher in my old nightstand lol).
It took about 5 minutes of thinking, and looking at my soda-can ashtray before I came up with an idea.
Materials needed: Aluminum can, something to poke a small hole, razor blade, styrofoam or packaging peanut, and of course your incense. (not shown: tape, lol)
Make an incision about one to one half inch up from where your can starts.
You should get something like that. If you didnt, you should stop huffing glue you retard.
Get your packaging peanut or styrofoam and squish it till it fits in the bottom of your can or just cut it some with the scissors or razor.
Make a small hole in the top of your can, but not too big or else your incense ash wont fall in the burner because the stick will lean.
Tape the packaging peanut or styrofoam directly under the hole. This will be so the stick can be supported more when you stick it in the burner.
Stick it in (lol) and youre done!
This can obviously also be used for cone incense, but then again, you can burn that in almost anything.
