you know when you watch those old movies and the detective or whatever has got a pipe ? well i wanted to make one of these pipes for a friend. so heres how i made one.
1 piece of thick dowel (15mm) 7cm thick
1 piece of thin dowel or a twig
a drill
some drill bits
some cottonwool
some scissors
some aluminium from a can for the cone piece

instructions
drill a thick hole 3/4 of the way down into the thick dowel.
now put the dowel on a sander or whatever to make the design on it you want i made it spikey.
now place you’re small piece of wood in the vice and drill directly through it with a fine drill bit.
now sand one end of it down so it will fit into the whole we are about to drill into the big dowel.
drill a hole in the side of the thick down half way down and make sure that you’re thin bit of wood can fit inside this hole.
cut out a circle of aluminum from a can.
now slice it half way through.
now get your cotton cool.
and pack it into the hole in the thick dowel ( this is sort of the filter)
now fit the newly made cone piece in there
now you have an easy made pipe which can be dissembled like this.
for easy concealment.

Oct 21, 2007 2:56 pm - My warning to everyone... please don’t smoke out of a bowl made with aluminum cans. Use aluminum foil if totally necessary. One more thing, save up for a real bong, it will pay you back... 4*
Oct 21, 2007 3:02 pm - Hey cool. what i do is but a bottel in half, Drill a hole about a centometer away fomr the bottem. then stick a straw in that hole.. Makes a good pipe!
Oct 22, 2007 5:49 am - Just buy a pipe?(Not exactly expensive and better than getting altsheimers from smoking aluminium). 4* coz it’s a good egg and I like homemade peices, but the aluminium looses you that extra star.

Jan 14, 2008 6:24 pm - also, instead if using the aluminum piece, you can mix 2 parts honey and 1 part water and let the bowl soak in it for an hour or two and that keeps the wood from burning. you only have to soak the bowl once also, no need to soak it before every use. that’s a good concept for a pipe though.
