Hey, DaDevil here with another scam egg.

This one takes place scamming those many Chinese eBayer scammers, who will email a large block of people, with something like this:

Or something similar to that. What they’re doing is writing in Chinese and just using a translator to get it in English, and as you can see, it’s terrible.

But what they do, they are scammers on eBay who email people with that, and try and scam people out of their money, etc.

Don’t believe me? A mate of mine got scammed out of $400 when he tried to buy something from them. So, you could say this is kind of a revenge scam.

Ok, moving on.

What I did, was I pretended to be a Chairman & CEO from a small, but vastly growing Guitar and Luthier business, calling myself Offshore Guitars Australia.

Here’s the email’s that I’ve saved from my successful Scam.

(Just a few notes before we go on. Yes, I am using a GMAIL account. These are the best when wanting to hide your IP from the reciever).

After recieving that "perfect opportunity to scam" email from that Chinese "company" (if you even want to call it that), this was the email I sent them:
Quote:
Hi, my name is David Licciardello, And I represent Offshore Guitars Australia as the official chairman, and are quite interested in your offer that you proclaim. We are a relatively new guitar company, but growing fast, getting orders from all over Australia, from Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, as well as many people from other cities, etc, and are looking to expand worldwide, to get a higher rating as a professional guitar and luthier business. The only official business we’ve done internationally has been a few orders to Canada, and the US, and one to the UK, with positive and excellent feedback from ALL our customers, nationally, as well as internationally.

We are looking to set up some business in other countries, distributing our guitars, and products in stores, etc, such as Mexico, US, UK, and China. I was very pleased when I got your email, and I apologize it has taken this long to reply, but we didn’t have time to consider international business until we got our business set up in Australia, and as well as eBay. If you would like to talk business, I would be delighted to oblige!

I assume that you have a member of staff there who can speak English, so it is easy to communicate between us, without any discreptencies. I hope to hear from you soon, and hope we can talk somewhat of doing business! Please notify me if you have an official business email, or if this one here I am emailing now is the one you use.

I hope to get a reply in the next few days or so, thank-you.

This is our Official Business email, until we get a domain name for our Under Construction website. It is in the process of being developed, then we shall have a proper POP3 Email Account.

From all the team at Offshore Guitars Australia,

Yours Sincerely,

David Licciardello
Offshore Guitars Australia
Official CEO & Chairman

Now I asked them to have an English speaking staff member to reply to my emails, otherwise I couldn’t do business with them. Well, I got that English speaking person (or Broken English for that matter).

Here’s a reply I got from them a few days later:
Quote:
Thanks for your letter of October 2, 2007. From your letter, we know your company is growing up and will be powerful soon. And you’re a sincere businessman.

We are an honest businessman, too. The products we provide are high quality with competitive price. If you are wholesale, the delivery fare is free and have discount. We deliver the products by EMS company. It’s very fast. You can receive guitars in 3—7 days. In additional, we provide numeral track which is convenient for your search.

We have many years’ business prestige, the feedback of our customers are good. We hope you will be our client near soon, and establish good business relationship and friendship.

We look forward to doing business with you, and hope both of us would get mutual benefits.

If you have any questions, contact us. We are happy to oblige for you.

Best regards!

Yours sincerely

cathy

Well, I was happy when I got this email. I was happy that I came off as sounding like a very sincere businessman, knowing my stuff. But then it occurred to me, that these people don’t care, they just want a target to mooch off. And they thought they found one. Not knowing that I’ve found them to mooch off!! Now I must forwarn you. "Cathy" is most likely a smokescreen to the seedy chineseman who most likely is running this scam.

I didn’t have time to reply to them, and I got another email from them:
Quote:
hi,
i’m cathy,a guitar supplier.i’ve sent a letter to you a few days ago.but till now i haven’t received your reply. have you received our letter?
i’m look forward to your reply.

best regards!

cathy

So heres what I replied:
Quote:
Hi, yes, I recieved your email. Sorry for the lateness of my reply, our Internet has been down all last week, and rendered us incabable of getting back to our clients for that short period of time. But we’re now back online and everythings in order.

We are very happy to commit to a business agreement, as we are looking forward to expand Internationally, and this is the perfect opportunity to do so! I have delt with EMS in the past, and I must say it’s a very excellent service!

I hope to elaborate on business proposals all in good time, and am looking forward to your reply.

From all the team at Offshore Guitars Australia,

Yours Sincerely,

This is all going well I thought. So well I even decided to put off my latest PedoBait scam. But that’s my next project.

Here’s their reply:
Quote:
hi,
i’m so pleased to receive your reply finally! and congratulations that anyting is in order now!

you make me think you’re a sincere businessman again! and i think we must be able to cooperate very pleasantly.and i’m sure we can build a long-term business relationship and friendlyship!

our usual way of doing business is :you tell us what models do you want, and send us the pictures of the models you want with specification and other requests . then we offer you a price and solve other questions you asked.i don’t know what’s your way of doing business.in your reply, you can tell us anything that’s convenient for you.
i look forward to your reply !

best regards!

Cathy

Now this email, is proof for both myself and you, that I have gained their trust a bit more. Now by this time the scam is under way.

Here’s my reply to that:
Quote:
Hi, Dave here,

Yep we’ve been sorting out what models we want, and what models people have ordered in. The way that works, if someone has ordered a specific guitar, in this case one of our clients came in Yesterday and ordered an Ibanez Jem, with a down payment of course. We do not have one currently in stock, and will need that sometime in the near future. Other models we might order will be a range of Gibson Les Pauls, as they’ve sold really greatly in the future, and want to try dealing with Dean guitars, as we got two trade in’s a while back, and they got sold almost instantly, so there is a pretty good market out there.

What I’ll do is do a stock check sometime today, working out what models we want from your company, and get back to you ASAP. The way we work out payments is, and this is how things have worked in the past, is we pay via Invoice usually. That is, you send the guitars to us, like our other counterparts who stock us, with items such as guitars, amps and accessories, and at the end of each month, we do a stock list, and with all the money that we owe, we pay to the companies who supply us, so we can do it all at a one specific interval, as we get many items in each week, and it can get very confusing when paying all different people. But we’ve been paying via Invoices for a while now, and that is, when we recieve the items from the companies who supply us, get their total of money (from the equipment they’ve sent to us), and we send send them an invoice for how much we owe, then when we do our finances at the end of each month we send them an email addressing the payment owing and either send payment via Bank Wire Transfer which is usually the case, but we can also go via paypal, etc, whichever works the best and fastest way. We have recieved excellent feedback from our counterparts when paying this way, it just makes it much easier on all the parties involved in the transaction.

I hope this is all in order, and I hope we can have a long lasting and strong business relationship and friendship. I really look forward to working with you, and hope to hear from you soon! If there is any problem with anything, feel free to email me, and we can discuss ways of
straightening out the situation.

From all the team at Offshore Guitars Australia,

Yours Sincerely,

David Licciardello
Offshore Guitars Australia
Official CEO & Chairman

Now, if you’re wondering, all the emails I sent were long and detailed, making me sound professional and business like.

Anyways, here’s their reply to that:
Quote:
hi,

i’m happy to meet you-such a big buyer. the amount in the future you offered is tempting. and we are lucky that all brands you offered we can supply.

as for the way of payment, all the three ways is often used in modern business. but payment by invoice takes too long. we don’t plan to accept it. the usual way of our payment is western union, transfer by direct bank and paypal. i hope all these are ok and you choose one that is convenient for you.

i hope it doesn’t do great inconvenience to you. and i look forward to your reply and order soon.

yours sincerely,

Cathy

Now, by now they think they’ve got another victim. It’s all falling into place!!

Here’s what I wrote back:
Quote:
Hi, yes that’s what I was getting at, either paying via Western Union / Paypal / Bank Transfer, etc are good. But I might not have made myself very clear in my last email, how we usually go about business is pay the Supplier by either ways of the payment methods above, but to make things ALOT easier on both us and our suppliers, we go via the Invoice routine, and how I mean that, (I hope I make myself a bit clearer here), we will pay all our suppliers at the end of each month, as we calculate all our expenditures from each supplier into seperate invoices so we don’t confused, and then go ahead and pay via the method chosen, example Bank Deposit/Transfer, and send an email along with an invoice to say this is how much we’ve paid, etc, with all our details and yours to show how the transaction went, etc.

Why we do this, is because if we pay our different suppliers for every little order that may be ordered in, it can get very confusing as something may be mixed up and either pay again, or not get paid at all, and that’s how we first went about paying suppliers and that just to muddled, so now we just write down every order we’ve put, and write down when it get’s in, and then write up the invoice, then when that’s all done and when we’ve got all the sepperate invoices for each order from the supplier, we go about paying, so it’s all nice and orderly, instead of muddled like things used to be back when we first started. And since then when we’ve changed to this routine, it has really has made our business alot more organised both with ourselves, our clients, and our suppliers. But as you were saying, we do pay via those payment methods, just in one lump sums so things don’t get mixed up and confused. That is to say, if we ordered several items from you over the month, we can write them all down and when the end of the month comes, we do a stock check and write an invoice showing all the different orders we’ve recieved from you as a supplier, then pay it all at once, and so on. That’s how we do business, and it’s a real time saver on both us and the supplier. I feel this will also build alot of trust and friendship as it has done for us and our previous suppliers alot.

I hope this isn’t an inconveniance, and I hope we can come to a business agreement soon, we are quite busy, so we try to find a good solution to both us and the client, or in this case Supplier, in the quickest amount on time possible, so we can proceed doing business, etc.

From all the team at Offshore Guitars Australia,

Yours Sincerely,

David Licciardello
Offshore Guitars Australia
Official CEO & Chairman

Now, in that email, I stated my terms of business, hoping they’d fall in like lame brains. Unfortunatly, they didn’t. And I had to do some fast and professional talking....

Cuz here’s their reply:
Quote:
hi,

having read your letter, and i know what you mean.and i understand the payment method you described has many advantages. all the advantages you said i agree. but since you’re busy, i am to make a long story short. to be honest,my boss always insists on delivering the goods after he receives the money. i hope you can understand and accept it.

i look forward to your reply! and hope we can work with each other!

yours sincerely

Cathy

Bugger, but not to be shot down, I was still determined to get what I wanted!

So here’s what I wrote back:
Quote:
Hi,

That’s fair enough, and I understand where you’re comming from on this, and I do understand how your boss works, but as we are quite tied up with alot of transactions pretty much all the time (we’re either recieving orders or making them, or dealing with clients, which is quite time consuming), and due to policies relating to our finacial options, we really rely on the recieving of orders, so we know we’ve for sure got the order, as before we have payed "supposed" suppliers, and have not recieved the order we payed for, and that put quite a dent in our profit margains and business as a whole, having to delay time to our clients and that really made the business suffer, that is why we rely on the order to be shipped in so we can have our stock ready, and then work out what we owe our suppliers and pay them at each interval.

From what you have told me, it seems that we may either have to overcome some things and have a decent agreement, and settle things nicely, but I can assure you that we come accross with what we say, you’ve got nothing to worry about there. If it’s any constelation, I could have a word to your boss and try to come to an agreement, otherwise, I am not sure when and how this will be resolved. I hope we can come to an agreement that both satisfies our needs, but that’s how our business works, and hopefully that’s how we can go about doing business.

Now, I stated in that email that our business works like I wanted. But not in those words. I tried to make them agree to my business plans, but it failed.

Here’s what they wrote:
Quote:
hi,

i’ve read your letter and i’m really in a baffle. i know the invoice is safe and i trust you, too. because when i was at my university, all i have learned is about invoice.but my boss really don’t agree that proposal. only package after payment. you also have your worries.

but i have a good advice, first time we use paypal. that’s fair and safe for both of us. you know the paypal very well i think. when you are not satisfied or you don’t receive the products, you can refund all the money from paypal. so that can solve your worries. in additional,we provide numeral track which is convenient for your search. everyday you can check your goods .

i think this method is ok and can solve the worries for both of us

i look forward to your reply!

yours sincerely,

Cathy.

Those arseholes are trying to divert my scam, to make me fall into theirs. Now, at this point they don’t know I’m scamming. But since I’m the potential client to them, hence giving them business, I make the arrangement, or no deal.

So heres’s my reply:
Quote:
Hi, yeah I guess I can work something out around that. I just realised I havn’t asked yet, but what is your Companies name and do you have a website I could look at all your stock, etc, like guitars, etc...

I’ll get back to you ASAP regarding the payment, PayPal sounds like a decent way, but I still want to work a few things out. If it isn’t too much trouble I could have a chat to your boss, maybe have some things cleared up.

I made it sounds as though I am considering going by their way. But I CERTAINLY WAS NOT GOING TO. I just wanted them to think that I may be able to cut them some slack.

Here’s their reply:
Quote:
hi,
thank you! our website is www.china-ebay-shopping.com and our website is updating now,so perhaps some of products you can’t find at website. but you just ask us if you can’t find on the website.
i hope we can begin our first business and build a long-term business relationship and friendship. in fact,if you do business with our boss one or two times, you’ll find you don’t have to worry anything when doing business with us. because our business id really an honest and sincere businessman!

yours sincerely,

Cathy

Those bastards are boasting on how sincere they are. Pfft. No way. I looked at their site. Sheer bullshit. How fucking obvious to me that it is a scam. They have no information and no decent pictures to their guitars, and mark them as "GIBSON" or "FENDER". No other info. So, it was my time to shine!!

Here’s my reply:
Quote:
Hi, upon looking at and through your site with much detail, sadly, it appears that much, virtually nothing is known about the guitars that you stock. Only one picture to each guitar, which again isnt of much brilliance, featuring very un-noticable ways to find if it’s the genuine article. And all your guitars (Fender, Gibson, Ibanez), are all marked as either Gibson Guitar, or Fender Guitar, etc, with no real insight to whether it is a Fender Telecaster/Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul, Ibanez Universe/JEM, etc, even though I know clearly what each one is, being a professional guitar tech and luthier for over 10 years. Your guitars on offer have NO information about them whatsoever, like the Specs (again I know full well all the Specs), but it makes me wonder if YOU or YOUR company does. Another thing to point out, real Gibson guitars and Ibanez’s can cost up to and about between $1000 - $10,000 and over, depending on the model, etc. The guitars I see there are too suspiciously cheap. Ranging from somewhere in the $260 price margain, which is WAY below standard pricing into the fact of unbelievable and just hard TO believe.

I am not sure exactly how you run your business, etc, but untill I can get some futher confirmation on the fact that you do know your guitars, I will need you to fufill a pre-order, just to let us know that we will be able to do stable business, and as soon as we DO recieve our Order from you, payment will be then IMMEDIATLY made to you, and then a mass of already paid orders will be made to then grow our business relationship, etc. But first we must know that we are dealing with a certified and trusted Guitar Dealership, that can fufill our orders second to none, with quality service. I’m sure that you can do this, but we ask that we get a pre-order to sweeten the deal and then make us realise that we can go about a good trusting business relationship and friendship.

Look forward to hearing your reply.

Now, when I got their reply, I find out that the guitars they stock are copies.

Read their reply:
Quote:
hi,
we’ve received your letter, thank you very much for your advice. we admit all of the problems you said are true. because our business scope is very large, we not only deal with guitars, so we can’t not make our website perfect. our usual way of doing business is you send us the pictures and specifications of the products you want, then we prodive the products according to your requirements. our website is only for your consideration!
as for the price, to be honest, most of our products are high qulity copy, so the price is much cheaper the the real one. even so, there are still many clients who buy in large volume. and the feedback isn’t bad. you can make a trial order, too. it’s only my advice for your reference. if you are interested, please contact us.
i look forward to your reply!
yours sincerely,
Cathy

Now, here’s my reply to that:
Quote:
Hi, so what you’re getting at, that the guitars you supply are only Copies? This is quite unfortunate... We only deal with the Genuine article, and we don’t scimp on that, that’s our #1 Guarrentee.

Let me sort through a few things and I shall get back to you. If you could fufill one Order for us in advance, so we can get our techs to have a good look at the guitar, we can have it
professionally looked at, etc, and we will send the payment for you.

We require an:

Ibanez UV777 Universe (7 String)

Pictures are attached.

Here’s their reply:
Quote:
hi

thank you for your letter and order. and we’ll do our best to make service for you. and we are willing to fulfill your first order for your consideration. i hope you will satisfy the guitar when you receive it. and let it to be the good beginning, and then and establish a long-term business relationship and friendship.

our paypal address is wangfujing163@yahoo.com.cn and western union :name:xijing feng /place:beijing,china you can choose either way of the payment .the total amout is 350 dollars, without box, or 400dollars with box. (next time when you order more ,we can have a little discount again) after your payment, please contact us,then we make the shippment immediately. you can receive it in 3-7days.

i hope everything is in order. look forward to your reply!

yours sincerely,

Cathy

Now here’s what I wrote back:
[quote]Hi, excellent, I will notify our Techs that will be done. We look forward to recieving the guitar, and are ready to pay immediatly when it arrives. When will you post the guitar, and how far off will it take to arrive? And since we don’t normally get large shipments from Overseas, I trust there won’t be any hold up at Customs, and everything will be nice and smooth.

It was EMS you ship with right? I trust that is a safe and efficiant way of recieving goods at a very fast pace. As promised, when we recieve the guitar, we shall put the money right into your PayPal account, or Western Union, whichever of those is fine by you. We will require the box (which totals it all up to $400 as you noted), just for extra strength and safe guarded, and so when we do put it in our shop, the buyer can either purchase a hardcase for it, or take it in the box as you supplied it with.

Since most of our shipments do come through our worshop, at our Techs workshop, all orders go under the head guitar tech Kevin Stier, so he and the team can make sure each order comes in safely and all professionally setup before it hits our shelves, etc. So, please send it to:

Offshore Guitars Aust.
c/o ***** ******,
****************,
****************.
Australia

We have two big shop fronts combined, yet our Tech workshop has always been counted as seperate address (Number). Just to be noted it’s right next door. But all our orders come through the Tech Workshup at 5/81 so they can be processed and tagged, etc, then put through to us

Now, with that email I thought that they would give me a guitar first for me to gain their trust. I was wrong.

They refused to send it without payment first:
Quote:
hi,

i’m glad both of us finally agree on eath other, through a so long time communication. and the safety you don’t worry. we ship the goods overseas everyday, so we know it very well. there are not any problems in customs.

but there are one question:you still don’t understand us,our boss only agree one policy--shippment after payment. in additional, you agreed that pay by paypal. because it’s very fair and safe. if you’re serious and sincere ,there are not any reasons you don’t agree on payment by paypal before shippment! don’t you think so?

i look forward to your sincere reply!

yours sincerely,

Cathy

GAH!!!! I had to do some more quick talking!

Here read this:
Quote:
Hi, well I figured, when you sent that you would fufill this first order as a consideration, I figured that was just to gain eachothers trust that I would get the order safely, and then I could pay you immediatly. That is how you came across as, as I thought. I hate all that business with PayPal if I have to try and refund money etc, it HAS happened before, and it was a pain, for both me and the other person.

The shipment after payment business is fine, but I was counting on the first order to be fufilled just so that I can trust you that things will come through safely, it’s just a little business ethic of ours, once we find that your business is much safeguarded, we can start then trading with larger orders payment first.

Cheers,

David

Hopefull that’ll set em straight I figured. But no, it didn’t. Fuck sakes!!

Here’s their reply:
Quote:
hi,
we have the same thought as you, the first time we should built trust with each other. so you can adopt payment before shippment. then according to the service and quality you can know whether we are trustworthy. i hope you don’t want to waste time any more . and let us start our first order. in a word,if you can’t accept this policy, perhaps we can’t work with each other. our boss is a well-known honest businessman,so we must ship the goods to you. more over,it’s via paypal-safe and fair enough!
i hope you can realize! look forward to your reply!

yours sincerely

Cathy

Now, I sent them a message saying to call me on the phone, now good thing was I used a Flextel number which was rerouted to me mobile phone, so when I gave him my Flextel number, it automatically called my mobile phone, without having to give my actual number out. My phone was smokescreened, to stop him getting my real number. This is a really good feature to have when Scamming. You can get a Flextel number here: http://www.flextel.co.uk/ gi-bin/clear.sh. So anyways, I told her "BOSS" to call me up, to set a few things straight. I persuaded here eventually, and whaddya know? The very next day I got a phone call from a Chinese number! Who could it be? I found out, using my very real American accent!! xD

The converstation went like this:
Quote:
ME: Hello?
HIM:Herro, Mr.... Lic... Lickriardelo?
ME:"Li hedello"... Yes, who am I speaking to?
HIM:This is the Chinese company that we are doings the business with the guitars. You has been speak to Cathy on the email recently. She had say to call you on the phone about this business deals.
ME:Oh yes, I asked her for you to call me. It seems that she won’t honor this business deal because she says you keep saying that payment must me made first. We cannot gain your trust if you don’t accept our rules.
HIM:There is no problems??
ME:I don’t think you get me. All we want is our first order to be sent as a favor, and when we recieve it we will send payment.
HIM:I’m ver sorry. We can’t alows to do that.
ME:Well then our business is over. Good day to you sir.
HIM:Wait, we can sort this out?
ME:Unless we accept my proposals, no we can not.
HIM:Look we very much want your deals, but we needs the payment first.
ME:Why?
HIM:So we can send goods.
ME:I don’t trust you. An overseas company with a shit website, that clearly looks like a scam, I’m afraid if you can’t go through with this and atleast prove to me otherwise, good day.
HIM:Sir wait!
ME:What *getting angry* LOOK I AM A VERY BUSY MAN, AND I DON’T HAVE TIME TO WASTE WITH NON POTENTIAL SUPPLIERS. GOOD DAY.
HIM: Sir wait wait!

*HANG UP*

I was pissed off. And it was late so I went to bed. But guess who came through the very next day!!

Here’s the email I recieved from them:
Quote:
hi,

We are very sorry about the phone call. my boss decided that we ship the guitar to you, then you send payment according to the service and quality you recieve. i hope you don’t want to waste time any more . we shipped it today it should arrive in 3-7 days

look forward to your reply!

yours sincerely

And so, I waited, and on the 10th Day, I finally got something!! But I made it C/O to the post office so i could come and collect it without them knowing my address...

And here it is! It isn’t a Universe 7 String, instead it is an Ibanez RG2570. It actually plays quite good!

Now, I stopped comming into contact with them, because I clearly forgot about it. But I remembered just before this egg, and I recieved an email from them.

Quote:
hi

what are you busy with these days? why don’t you reply? now i’m curious how you do business. when i tell you the exact way of payment, you disappear. in fact,if everyone does the business honestly and sincerely, everyone can do business well and earn much!

please email us back with the payment. we havnt gotten a reply or anything in the last week.

look forward to hearing from you.

best regards!

Cathy

So here’s what I wrote:
Quote:
Hi, sorry for the long wait. We just moved in to our new location. You see, we got word from our application that was put in several months ago for a new location, and we just got it a week ago, and we’ve been moving in and putting all our instruments into the new showroom, and its been a big pain to move our Luthier workshop, with all the tools and heavy machinery, and we’re still moving all that around. And the fact that we’ve got to reprint our ad in the phonebook, and business cards, etc, and tell all our providers our new location, etc. So it’s been a very busy week, with alot of work ahead of us. It’s really time consuming, and I’ve only gotten a chance to plug in the computer and mainframe only temporarily, so I could quickly get back to all of our business providers and customers. It’s going to be unplugged again soon because everything has to be moved around, etc, so I won’t be able to reply for while, I have no idea how long, just how ever long it’l take for things to be up and running again.

We havn’t received the guitar yet, and fear it might have got lost, as it has been 10 days. Are you sure you’ve sent anything? Anyway, We don’t have time to talk through any business at this point in time right now, as things are just too busy and we’re really stretched as it is. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I’ll get back to you when I can.

Have a good week,

Regards,

David

And I havn’t gotten a reply back yet. So that’s
DADEVIL = LEET
SCAMMER = 0wnED!! (Haha, nub)!

Hope you enjoyed the egg, and my PedoBaiting one will be on here soon, but it’s still to be finished.

By the way, the Ibanez is most likely a Fake. I’m taking it to an Ibanez dealer next week to get it checked out. If he asks, I bought it off eBay pretty cheap! xD

I get scam emails (very rarely), within eBay. If I’m selling something, usually big, or of reasonable value, I’ll get an email question, from the scammers. Not everything has to allways be of value though, as they don’t really care what the item is, they just want that item as a chance to send their bait through a "question" within eBay.

I’ve also gotten many scam emails in my Junk box of my Hotmail account. I’ve had it for about 5 years, so they’ve all built up big over the years. Lol.

Hotmail is the best way to go I’d say, to get random scam emails. But I find the easiest is eBay, it’s just really really scarce if they send something.

Hope that helps, man!

I never sell anything on ebay. The only scam emails I get are some nigger assed nigerians who try to convince me I have 12 million USD for me.

That is some good stuff dude. I’ve been scambaiting for over a year and have not gotten anything that good in the mail. When I start scambaiting again I’ll probably go for some artwork, even though I think the scammers are catching on to the artwork baits now.

btw, how many scammers did you have to try that modality on before somebody actually came through with the goods?

DaDevil

Oct 28, 2007 10:20 pm -
Thanks for those kind words Keiser! Cheers!

In regards to that, I sent out 5 replies of the exact same email, to 5 originating emails of eBay scammers. I had recieved 4 scam emails from different Chinese eBayers, (one originating in Spain, one in UK, one in US, and one in China, all saying they’re from China, with the same similar scame email). I got these 4, ALL regarding my (now sold) PS2.

And the 5th one was the one I got earlier in the year, and that was the email I got a reply back, and now in this egg, as the successful Scam Bait. I got a reply from the one in UK, and he couldn’t even speak a word of english, using that infernal Translator, so I just stopped communicating with him, and focused one the one which I actually got something out of.

Cheers, Keiser!

lucky for me i never got scammed out of anything, if i do its either legal action or I’ll go over there and whip them with my rifle, essentially a 9 pound bat thats very pointy and hard.
