I figured this out one day when I was messing around
with my guitar. It’s a way to turn your guitar into
a Sitar.

First get a pick and your guitar

Then almost like a pickslide slide the pick up and down the neck on the 2nd string, but USE THE SIDE OF THE WIDE END OF THE PICK the end you normally hold it by. Also the pointed end of the pick should be pointing towards the ground.

Do this until the pick has a slit in it. (The slit should be deep enough so that when you let go of the pick it stays stuck to the string.

Then slide the pick down to the highest fret (This makes it easier to play).

Then all you have to do is play the first string

If you want to make the whole guitar sound like a sitar just repeat for every string (Only works for string 1-5)

I don’t play guitar, but ill give you a 2* because a good song just came on my Pandora.

P.S. Next time add pictures, it was easy enough to understand even for a non-guitarist like me, but pictures would help any egg.

Sorry about the pics i’m new to this site and im not sure how to do everything. and Salamanderhead your a prick why would I need pics to PROVE I did this, and to Bs movies to me it sounded like a sitar, but I just posted this cause I like the sound of it
