okay okay here it goes
supplies: allen wrench
motor from cd player
coaxial cable
guitar string (g string)
ball point pen
first take ball point pen and remove the ball by rubbing the ball cement, remove ink tube
cut pen to size and attach to allen wrench cut the center wire out a coaxial cable should be thick and make a bend on one side and tie a 1.5 inch piece of guitar string to the end of it, that way it doesnt flex when it hits the skin and you can also change the needle eazily
fig 1= coaxial wire fig 2=guitar string fig 3 string
attach button to motor shaft attach motor to allen wrench heres a simple diagram i also use an electric train controller for power

you forgot to say what diameter guitar string,
and you forgot to sharpen your ’needle’...
T ing the needle to the rod... Man, is that the best way you can attach it?
Nov 02, 2007 11:39 pm - dodge i did say the diameter its a [g] string 3 one from the top and i did sharpen the needle and you can also solder the needle on but makes it a little more difficult to remove just wrap the string around it a bunch of times works just fine and i just used the fucken thing so yeah it has ink in it and i dont use this on anyone but myself

The G string can be a number of different diameters. For instance, on this site, the G strings vary in size from .022 to .026... When you’re talking about pokin’ holes in your arm, that DOES make a difference.
And unless you play guitar standing on your head, G is the third string from the bottom. Low E is at the top, then A, D, THEN G, B, and High E at the bottom.

Tying the ’needle’ in place seems kinda rinky-dink. Seems unreliable. I’d hate to be doing a tattoo, and have the needle fall off the bar. But regular solder would be a bad idea. It contains a LOT of lead. You’re supposed to use lead free silver solder.

You did it with PEN INK??? I was saying you should’ve cleaned out all the pen ink from the pen tip. God knows what is in that stuff. If you’re gonna do ’prison’ tattoos, use India ink. If someone didn’t know anything about tattoos, and they followed the instructions in this egg, they might assume you meant to use the pen ink.

as far as sharpening method, i use a stone for knives
and the fucken needle has not fallen off unless i cut it maybe you should learn to tie wind the string around the needle a few hundred times and nobody says you have to do it this way find your own way
as far as the ink in the tube of course its not pen ink dumb ass pen ink has its own plastic tube that is removed
and the sterilization of the machine is easy just replace every thing and its cheap i always heat the needle till red and temper in alcohol or bleach if you use metal parts you can boil the shit out of them
bottom line you dont like it make it betterdodge
in not a fucken engineer so i dont know the diameter of the string as long as you know its a g is good enough

When you pull out that little ink tube, if you look, there’s ink in the piece where it was. You never said to clean that out. You just said to remove the tube, and rub the ball on cement. That would leave pen ink in there, dumb ass.

Because I could definitely make a better egg, and I have no need to make one for ME, because I bought a real tattoo gun. I was just pointing out flaws in this egg.
