Part 2

sorry for the stretch
For all RE members, I’ve been reading a lot of forum topics that has to do with stenciling and how to make one. Since making Stencils and spraying them s a hobby of mine. I decided to write up an egg on it. You can make t-shirts with your own design, spray it on the streets, or like adults make designs for the tiles or walls. This is my second egg for stenciling. I did have a link to download it for those who don’t have it, but that had a virus and deleted some of my memory.
In this egg,
I Will not,
Explain how to spray paint
Explain the terms in which is about Photoshop, it’s in the other egg.
Cut the stencil out.
Spray it.
Why? Cause I’m too lazy right now.

I Will
Use Photoshop to make a personal stencil.J

First off you will get an opening screen of Photoshop after you downloaded it and did all the set up.

I wanted to make bush into a stencil so that I could make him look bad. I got it off the internet. Save the image to your desktop and open it up in Photoshop. You can use whoever you want.

We want Bush’s stencil, not with the background. So we delete the background with the magic wand or w/e you like. Make sure that the background is out of the picture.

In order to make his hair show or any light coloured parts of his face or body we need to colour it black so that when we make the stencil and make it grayscale, it’ll show up well.

Now, we have an ugly son of a bitch who is my president. We will use the Brightness/Contrast button to make our president look weird. The button is here

Now mess around with the Brightness/Contrast until you get something like this, or just put the arrows where mine are.

We now have our person look a bit different, now go to Image->Mode-> GrayScale.
By this, your pictures starts to look like a stencil.

[/img]

I forgot to take a picture of this part so bear with me. Go to Image->Adjustments->Brightness/Contrast. Put the Contrast to 100% And click Ok.
Ha your done! Not really you need to make major adjustments or your thought so stencil will not work at all. For sho.

Now, you need to understand what these vocab words mean.
Island- by this there is an enclosed space in which is not connected with the other parts which will not be cut out.
So bacically when you cut the black outlines parts out, if you have a white part which you want I the picture surrounded by the black parts, when you cut the black parts out, the white parts would be cut out as well. You all follow?

Another good vocab.
Bridge- By this, it is a connection of an island to the rest of the white parts of the stencil. It connects the island with the white parts so that when cut out it would not be cut out as well.

So here in the red are some of the islands, which I need to make a bridge on. If you don’t get what I mean, just Message me on my profile. O btw, I probably won’t answer your questions on the comments.

Here is the done stencil with the red showing the bridges and the blues as stuff I changed. The blue on his blazer was where the American flag pin used to be. It wasn’t necessarily so I covered it up with black. The tie was in small pieces and when I was to cut it out, it would be a waste of ink so all I did was just made an outline.

this is a classic view of the stencil I just made, go to Filter-> Stylize-> Find edges. This is just a way so that when I print it out on a paper. It won’t waste the ink on the darkened black parts.

Here is my old bush stencil I made in School. Yes, in school. Amazing isn’t it?

O btw you can use my stencils to print out. I’ll post new ones along the way. My stencils are you stencils. Feel free to C/P and print them out. My Photoshop copy had a virus, so I need to get the real thing in order to write more eggs. My first part isn’t done so bear with me

Alle- here’s frank. Its not too good but this is what I mean by bridges.

Thanks for reading!
Happy Stenciling!

Lol it’s not a page stretch for me, well, considering I have a 22" widescreen flatscreen monitor! xD (BenQ for teh win!) oh, and my second screen which is a 19" flatscreen. I have a duel video card, so I can have two screens working in sync. :D

Btw, this egg rules! It’d be really handy for that artwork I do, which need stenciling, so it’s gunna be real handy for someone like me!

Here, have a big 5* from a Lvl 21, that’l put any other down rating arseholes in their place!

xD

Awesome egg, keep ’em up UT!
