While out with a couple of mates about a month ago we started to walk behind the back of the old allotements (place where people grow vegetables for their own purpose). Now they have been building a bonfire for November 5th there for about 9 months. THe police just say they are littering. One friend thought that dousing it in petrol and setting it alight during the day would be a good idea. I wasn’t aware of what he was doing at the time. Next thing i know BOOM!!!. A great big fireball behind me. After that we just ran as fast as we could. Old people who had seen the firball go up, started shouting at us and this included the people who were in the allotements. We all hid in some woods until the sounds of the sirens got dimmer. From the woods we could see the fire and it just kept getting bigger. We all then went our seperate ways and headed home. It was put into the local newspaper that a group of vandals did it. Thing is that the police went back to check on it a couple of days later and they saw people adding stuff to it so they got the blame. The papers then read that there may have never been a group of teens seen there. I guess there won’t be any bonfire this year though lol.
