Part 3 of my previous egg. [ Maybe a little extra in the end (: ]
In my last egg I promised to make an egg on how to download music off of www.projectplaylist.com ,
well you’re going to learn how!
First Off, Open Internet Explorer. [ This will not work with Firefox, as far as I know ]
And go to www.projectplaylist.com
What you want to do now is search by song title or artist.
After you find the song that you’re looking for preview it to make sure it works.
If it does you’re good to go, If it doesn’t, preview another one.
Now, There are one of two things you can do here.
1. If the link in the green text ends with ".mp3" you can copy and paste it into your address bar and save the
file that way. [ This way will work with Firefox too ]
Or.
2. You follow the steps below and get the song, It takes a little more time but you still get the song
you want.
If you can’t find the song you want that ends with ".mp3" don’t worry, You can still get that song.
So what you want to do is preview the song you want.
Then go to Start>Control Panel>Internet Options>Browsing History>Settings>View Files.
Sort the list by size, and scroll down to the bottom and find the MP3 file, This is your song.
Once you find the song, Double click it, If you get a pop-up just click Yes.
Then the file will open in Internet Explorer, Click Save, And rename the file if you want, And click save again.
You can play the song now if you want to confirm that this works, And move it to your Music folder, or where
you keep your music.
This works the same way for getting music clips off of www.walmart.com to use for ringtones.
Now, some of you might be saying, Its easier to just download the songs off of limewire. Well,
Limewire doesn’t always have the song you want so this is an alternative to downloading off
Limewire.
iPod users!
Theres no reason to add this, But if you have an iPod and don’t like using iTunes you can use SharePod.
http://www.sturm.net.nz/downloads/sharepod/sharepod.zip Advantages of SharePod over iTunes. Well not much just the smaller file size and you don’t need any extra
programs to run it. It works on Windows Vista also.
