Ok, so. Everyone (well, two people) has been making their "How to put a Santa hat on your avatar eggs, so I figured I would also jump on the band wagon.
Except this time, I’m going to show you how you do it in Ulead GIF Animator 5.
This will only work on GIF’s that you have saved to your computer already. Only ones you made. I mean, it will work with other ones, but you will have to divide them up into scenes and such, and I’m not telling you how to do that.
I’m sorry if this doesn’t work, I’m new to the whole uploading a program on to rapidshare. This is what I thought I would have to upload for you guys.

Here[/url] is a 15 day free trial, but you have to find the serial somewhere else.
Ok down to the egg buisness.
Go into the program Ulead GIF Animator 5, and you will get a screen that resembles the one below. Click on "Open an Existing Image File."
Now go to your internet browser, and do what every other Santa hat GIF egg will tell you to do. Go and find a Santa hat picture on the internet. You’ve got plenty of choices.
When you find one you like, go ahead and Right Click, then Copy. Or Copy Image, depending on your browser.
Now go into Ulead and go up to Object. Go down to New Blank Object and over on the right you will see that a new transparent layer has been added.
Now on this transparent layer, we will be able to paste on that Santa hat you found a few steps ago. Either go to edit paste, or just hit Ctrl+V.
The santa hat will now probably be taking up the entire image, but never fear, the image resizer is here. However, in the interests of accuracy in the picture I am going to leave it enlarged. If you don’t really care about the accuracy of the white being gone, well just skip down to the part about resizing.
Ok so now that the santa hat is taking up the picture, grab your eraser and start to get rid of the white. Don’t worry, this won’t erase the original picture, thats why we made the transparent layer.
When you get rid of all the white in the area you can see, take the pick tool (The arrow) and move the santa hat around so you can see more white and erase it some more.
Repeat those steps and eventually you will have removed all of the excess white from the picture.
RESIZING
Once it is all gone, go over to the far right and right click the Santa hat. Go down to object properties.
Now a box like the one below will come up. Click on the Position and Size tab. Now your going to have to play around with the size until it is about right for your picture. If you want the picture to stay in the same ratio as it is before resizing, well then just check that box and it will keep the shape.
Now that it is the proper size, just position it over the head, or whatever you wish, just as long as you think it looks good.
Now either just copy the santa hat image for all the pictures, or you can do this over and over with different Santa hat images.
To copy the Santa hat image, go over to the far right and right click on the Santa hat image. Go down to Duplicate. This will make a new Santa hat right over the old one. Take the Pick Tool, (The arrow) and grab the santa hat right on top of the old one in the picture. Move it around and resize it to your liking.
And there you go, you just put a Santa hat on your GIF with Ulead!
