Alright this is my first egg so kinda be nice in a way... actually yeah go ahead and judge, it’ll teach me what i need to improve on.
Alright so basically heres what I thought of one day in a boring math class while I was listening to music. Back then I had long hair that covered my ears entirely. I could listen to music and no one would know unless they were actually looking for headphones, and even then they had some trouble. So I thought about it and realized i could just record my voice onto my mp3 player and then put it on repeat. Then i would basically have a hidden cheat sheet.
The best type of headphones would be Earbuds. You’d run the cable from your pocket up the back of your shirt. Then once it reaches the top of your shirt run it up (under your hair) over top of your ears.
(by the way this isn’t my ear lol)
So all you really have to do is record your voice using a program such as "Windows Sound Recorder" and put it on your mp3. Just make sure the sound isn’t too loud, so the teacher(s) don’t hear it, and you’re good to go.
If your mp3 doesn’t support .wav files (which windows movie maker saves as) download "Switch Audio File Conversion" at http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html
Alright heres the thorough section of the guide. This is for those of you who can’t piece things together by themselves (I’m not judging anybody, I’m just putting it in for the retards lol, so skip this if you understood).
Alright first of all you need an mp3 player(with headphones), and a microphone.
(I’m assuming you know how to connect the mp3 player and the mic to your computer(if you don’t... rate me a zero and leave a bad comment lol))
Now start up windows sound recorder:
Click the record button:
Start talking into your microphone, obviously saying whatever "cheating stuff" you need.
Then hit the stop button (It’s the black rectangle to the left of the record button lol)
Now save this file wherever you want (the desktop wouldn’t be a bad idea)
Now open up "Switch"
Now hold down the "Alt" and "A" keys simultaneously on your keyboard until you see a window like this one:
Now find the file you recorded earlier, and double click it.
Next select a folder to save the .mp3 file in:
Once you have the .mp3 file saved, move it onto your mp3 player.
Wire yourself up:
And have fun cheating
This works about 90-95% of the time and if you dye your hair black and get black wires it’s more like 95-99%.
If this has been covered before, just leave a message, and a link to the other egg and I’ll remove this egg
Dec 04, 2007 7:31 pm - It’s been done before. I remember an egg from long ago on it. There was also an egg about saving it in the Notes section of an iPod. But iPods suck balls. Haha

That made me lol.
It may have been done before, but if my memory is correct, I don’t think the other egg had pictures and good explanations like yours.
Dec 04, 2007 7:36 pm - been done
use the egg directory
4* because if it hadnt been done this would be an awesome egg
Good grammar
formatted nicely
pics work
but nonetheless its been done
and in ways that even a person without semi-long - long hair could do it
Dec 04, 2007 7:49 pm - During Winter times, I’d usually wear long sleeved shirts or sweaters/jackets so I’d just have my Ipod in my pocket and I’d put the cord under my shirt and through my sleeve so I would have the ear bud in my hand and I would be able to just put it to my ear and listen to music. I could easily hide it by letting it slip down my sleeve a bit or by pulling your sleeve up a bit(if you had long sleeves). Anyways, that’s pretty irrelevant.
This egg is pretty good. Seems like a lot of work though and if you don’t really know the answers in the first place, you wouldn’t know what answers to record.
Dec 04, 2007 7:50 pm - this is a great idea, but i have an easier way, most mp3 players today like basically all of them have built in mics so you can record you voice, just record it on your mp3 player, same thing just easier.
Dec 05, 2007 3:33 am - common idea, but this only really works if you have long hair to hide it. also, sound recorder only lets you record 1 minute of stuff, so that really limits you
Dec 05, 2007 3:10 pm - Lmao, this is older than old, I found out about this like 8 years ago, kids used to do it with tapes... 5 *s and welcome to the site man.
Dec 05, 2007 8:39 pm - Thanks for the compliments everybody
First of all although it didn’t really seem like it i did mention growing your hair out long:

Back then I had long hair that covered my ears entirely.
I kinda figured that was self-explanatory, so sorry for the confusion but yeah grow your hair out.
In response to UTgod 27’s message:
Quote:
ppl can see dude and hear too. basically this wont work. also, you have acne on your ear...
First, you grow your hair out as mentioned above
Second,
Quote:
Just make sure the sound isn’t too loud, so the teacher(s) don’t hear it, and you’re good to go.
Finally, IT ISN’T MY EAR, look right under the picture, it says
Quote:
(by the way this isn’t my ear lol)
Finally, yeah you can record over a minute on windows sound recorder, you just hit record again after the minute’s up and it adds more sound to the file
K actually this is finally, i realise that this has been covered before now, but do to the high ratings and comments about the quality of this, i will not be removing this egg. My sincerest apologies to the makers of the other eggs.
