Hello, I know I haven’t posted anything for ages but I wished to share a little philosophical tidbit which I distilled yesterday. I do hope you’ll enjoy it and maybe get something out of it.
Last night when I was lying in bed half-asleep I mused to myself that everything is inherently silly.
All actions were silly in that they were undertaken for silly reasons.
People fight wars over land, or because someone wishes to take something of their’s.
But it’s not the people who are fighting. Merely the governments and they are using the people.
The people are silly for fighting for someone else.
The governments are silly for killing the people on the other side for disagreeing with them.
Inaction is also silly since it’s the avoidance of doing something silly. The something silly here may be anything which one may think of.
Enlightenment... I thought about that for a while
and I realized that it is to a certain extent merely accepting things for what they are and thus being connected with them; which is silly since it’s merely the removal of personal notions about things being something more.
I was half-asleep when I thought of all this.
So I’m not too sure if it’s even logical.
I also realized that my whole labeling of everything silly was silly and I chuckled to myself and drifted off to sleep.

as for your conclusions about wars and such...lets just say you shouldnt concern yourself with that...

I. Don’t. Know. Why. ANYONE goes to war. When the rich wage war, it’s the poor who die. You aren’t being a hero by fighting in a war, you’re not being a guardian of your country. You are being a stepping stone for the rich and politicians to step on you, leave you behind, then leave you sitting dead in the water. You sign up so you can be stepped on, killed, maimed, petrified, dehumanized. And why? For glory? Nope, sorry folks. It’s for the war profeteers can make money off you, and the politicians who can use you.
