WARNING: this egg is long so if you aren’t up for the read, don’t.
First off this egg is for those who choose to use Cannabis and/or those who are just reading for informational purposes. I don’t want to hear a bunch of shit about how “weed is lame” and “pot heads are fags”, if you really care so much about other peoples’ lives then do some good with a little community service. It isn’t you place to rate me or anyone down because you personally feel Cannabis is stupid. I don’t call you lame or a retard for not using.
Yes people have posted how to make hash but the methods I have read so far are not good. Also none of the methods I am posting have I seen anywhere else on RE. I do realize some of you have been doing this ‘since 3rd grade and that this is old’ I am not claming to have invented these methods I am only sharing them with those who haven’t tried these methods.
Key Terms
Hash- The pressed trichomes or resin
Kief- the powder consisting of uncompressed, dry trichomes
Bubble Hash- Hash made using screens with water and ice also called Ice Hash
Quick Fact• THC content of hashish usually ranges from 15–20%
Things to Know
You do not need to bake hash using the bubble method. Hash can be made using either bud or the fine trimmings of the leaves around the bud before harvesting. Most people don’t have access to that and will have to use kief or bud to make there hash. If you have a grinder that is multi leveled you most likely have a kief compartment. This compartment collects the fallen resin through a screen so no leafy material gets in.
Rating
Everything will be rated on easiness, time, and on quality using a 1-5 scale 1 being worst quality and 5 being the best, 1 being easiest and 5 being hardest, and 1 being fast and 5 being slow. P.S. I didn’t mention that some of these are ways to get resin and some are ways to press it.
Kief Joint
Easiness: 1 Time: 1 Quality: 4.5
Materials
Rolling Paper
Kief (or a grinder that collects keif and some bud)
Procedure
This method is self explanatory and is extremely easy you simply roll a joint (or blunt) using kief and not bud. You want to fill the joint up but you aren’t going to get some huge fatty. The preferred width would be cigarette size. I would not suggest using a roller because resin is sticky and you will loose some on your roller. When you roll make sure to apply pressure and roll it really tight. This is why you need quite a bit of keif. It is good quality but some might not call that hash.
Knife Hash
Easiness: 3 Time: 2 Quality: 3
Materials
Knife or Flat piece of metal that can be used to apply pressure
Heating source to heat metal
Any safety equipment you fell necessary
Resin
Plastic ziplock bag or the plastic from a cigarette box
Procedure
This is a pressing method for making hash. You need to have collected resin. Take this resin and put it in between to pieces of the above mentioned plastic. You want the resin in a pile but you need to smooth it out before you press it. If you don’t have enough resin this will not work. Not heat your metal and apply it to a different piece of plastic to test the temperature. You don’t want it to melt the plastic. When the temperature is right (it is hot but doesn’t melt the plastic) apply it to the plastic above the resin and press down. Repeat on other side and you will have a flat piece of hash.

[b]Cold Bud Cold Blender
Easiness: 2 Time: 2 Quality: N/A[/b]
All you need is a blender and some bud. Take the glass part of the blender and put it in the freezer. Take your bud and do the same. Wait 15 minutes or so (go smoke) and then take them out. Place the bud in the blender. Now blend but don’t turn blend on and leave it, you want to do quick little blends. So turn the blender on and off. You will notice that the sides are getting kinda ‘dusty’. That dust it the resin. Dump out the ground but and save that for later or just smoke it. And then either with a small artist paint brush sweep it up. Or if you are lazy you can kind of bang it out. You will have resin to make hash with.
Silk Screen
Easiness: 4 Time: 4 Quality: N/A
Take either your bud or find trimmings and place them on a silk screen. You want a silk screen used for making T-Shirts which you can buy and an arts and grafts store. Tap the screen and lightly move you bud around. Look on the table you should see that yellow dust you were after.
Grinder or Blender
Easiness: 1 Time: 1 Quality: N/A
This is either taking your coffee grinder or something and grinding weed. The dust you see on the sides is kief. Dump the weed and with a pint brush sweep out the kief.
Pressing
Bake
Easiness:5 Time:5 Quality:5
Procedure
Take your resin and use a tea strainer to sift and make sure everything is pure. Now pour the resin in a cellophane envelope like the kind from a black and mild box works really well. Pack the resin and fold over the plastic and tape it shut with cellophane tape. Wrap tightly in newsprint paper and tape with cellophane tape again. Soak it in warm water. Bake at 347 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes. Take it out of the oven and then your going to press the packet. Then let it cool in the fridge. Unwrap and enjoy.
Bubble/Ice Hash
Easiness:5 Time:5 Quality:5

The bubble bag system is the best for making ice hash however you can find other bags out there. Or for those who don’t want to buy a system, you can use pantyhose as a filter. Then a coffee filter for the fine stuff.
I hoped you all enjoy learning a little about making hash. If you have troubles at first don’t be discouraged getting hash right takes some time. This Egg will not guarantee great hash but it does provide a simple starters guide. Good hash can only come from experience. Making hash is fun so do it with some friends. Come up with new ways to make hash. And of course have a good smoke. |

You forgot ISO hash which is one of the easiest methods with less waste. The blender one is a bad idea because you’ll loose alot of trichs/kief. A good way to press small amounts of hash if your strapped for time or resources is to put some trichs/kief in a baggie, migrate it to one corner and wrap it up so it stays in the approximate shape you want the finished product to be in and place it in your shoe under your heal for a few hours whilst your out and about. The heat and pressure from your heel will press it into a nice lump of hash in an hour or two. |

it’s not like people are gonna do out and get raw weed to make into hash. i bet it’s easier getting hash than raw weed unless your growing it your self! and why would i wanna spend a lot of money on this when i can get hash for cheaper |

Because you can make hash from the trim/leaves/kief left over and not waste it?!? Also, If your hash is cheaper than your weed then you are either getting soapbar(99%binbag and dog shit, 1%shitty weed) or just generally shit hash. |

This is a helpful egg to dealers who want to sell the weed but make hash from it first to make more profits. Yes the weed then become cheaper but you ussually do this with dhity weed or weed grown for making hash. Or lets say you have shitty weed this way you get high without the glass shard and imbalming fluid... or if you just want to have fun and try hash. |
